What a great competition to be able to witness. I'm glad you got to be a part of it. The wing-control competition was especially great. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching. Yes, it was interesting, and some of the guys with trikes are really good at the wing control. But the winds were pretty crazy the day they decided to do that, so it made for an interesting event. Thanks for writing,
@@mydogischoking keep the fantastic videos coming buddy. What an amazing adventure, South America looks so good. I’m loving the diverse cultures I get to see.
Thanks. I really appreciate that. I put in quite a bit of work in editing to make these, so I am glad you appreciate the work. Thans for the kind words.
Way way way way waaaaay cool. I love how that young fellow said I might be missing my arm but that doesn’t mean I can’t fly, and then found a way to make it happen!! What a cool bunch of people worthy of recognition Kris. Another fantastic blessed journey. Keep em coming
He was a cool young man too, and a pretty good pilot once he was in the air. Taxiing (in my opinion) looked much harder than flying for him. I was impressed! Great people here and great flying for sure. Thanks for the comment, and I'll keep them coming.
Just as I was watching Tucker Gott at a 'fly-in' just outside Las Vegas, I recieved a notification for your latest video. Perfect timing! Really happy to see that you have run into another Paramotor 'family'.. It's satisfying to see that the sport is spreading to other countries. Another stroke of luck in your adventure....just "icing on the cake"! I trained in San Antonio on a trike (old legs) so to see the trike 'ground competion' I am aware of just how difficult that can be. LOL wish my legs were good enough to do the foot launch competition! Just so fortunate that you have met these pilos, Other than language barrier, these folks would be right at home at an American 'fly-in'. Hoping that your bike is repaired when you return. Sorry to hear of the 'lingering' symptons that '42' is experiencing. ( I empathize, with 'long-term' Covid.) Be safe! C'ya next video.
Everyone here (not just the pilots) has been like family to me. Even the restaurants I frequent, the staff treat me like family. The other evening, I was eating at a burger joint, a small place with an open front for their kitchen. A bat flew into the kitchen and decided to stay on the wall. The staff were afraid of the animal (this was in the city), and the first thing they thought of was to ask me to come get it out of the kitchen. I obliged without harming the animal. The hotel where I am staying asks me to watch the front desk once in a while. Yeah, crazy like family here. Thanks for writing me as always.
Yes, I'm slowly making some headway. A lot further to go still, but I appreciate each viewer taking the time to watch my videos and especially for each comment (Thank YOU!). Because I don't speak Portuguese it was difficult for me to understand how organized it was, but everything seemed to run smoothly. Thanks again for writing me!
We enjoyed watching the competition. Thanks for sharing it. FYI...talked with my cousin in S. Carolina tonight. They were bummed because they have no power so they couldn't watch you but asked me to tell you as soon as they get power, they're watching you again. They run a hunting camp down there and said they found a deer buck up in a tree, obviously he had expired. Other than that, only damage they had was a tree fell on their house but they're safe. You stay safe too. Be blessed.
Ok that’s crazy! Was the deer in the tree that fell on the house or a different tree? It seems they have some strange tree issues. Also tell them thank you!
Yes, I noticed that too when I was editing the video. I can't quite figure out what it was, but I hope it wasn't important. Thanks for the comment and good catch!
I have limited skydiving experience. Jumping from a trike with a skydiving parachute would be fun. Jumping with a paraglider sounds crazy! So do you know what motor and wing won the economy test?
I don't think paragliding canopies are made to take hard impact openings, so as long as they open quickly without a huge drop, I think it would be quite fun. I don't know anything about what motor/wing did the best in the competitions... huge language barrier. But it was interesting to watch. Thanks for the comment.
I have been in South America now for about 2 years and Google Translate is something I use daily and often. But the offline translator is worthless unless you and the person you are having a conversation with have the time to sit and wait as the text realizes you are offline. They seriously need to update that app with a toggle to let it know that it is offline otherwise you have to wait for it to timeout each time. Much easier to bother Mauricio :-) Thanks for the comment.
Show.

What a great time...........I would luv to attend! Thanks for posting!!
It was! But better yet, attending the fly-in in Brasilia they have each year would probably be better! Thanks for always watching.
that was so great, been with brothers from other country sharing the same passion. Fly Baby Fly.
The flights and experiences with these guys have been amazing. Great people here! Hope you’re enjoying the sky as well!
Paranapanema was amazing! I hope you enjoyed the vibe

Ha ha! Good name for it. Thanks for watching.

@@mydogischoking It was up in a tree in the camp ground. It was caused by the hurricane.
At 3:55, the guy in the background dropped something out of his side pocket.
