Freddie was an awesome romantic. He said in an interview love is the most important thing💕 💕 I have always believed he had an unhappy childhood and missed his family when he was sent to India to school. He searched for love and wrote songs about love his whole life. I don’t believe he ever found exactly what he was looking for. I’ll always love Freddie He just had IT … 🥰♥️
I agree, i think that there was something deep inside Freddie that he just couldn't find and i think it goes back to his childhood. I know he loved his mother and sister and they loved him, i'm not sure however that the same could be said about his relationship with his father - i don't know for sure though, it's just a feeling i have that things weren't quite right between them. Maybe you know and can shed some light on this for me ? I do know that Freddie had bouts of doubts and insecurities about his piano skills and vocal skills etc, quite insecure at times.
This harmony of piano and guitar at 3.27 onwards was fantastic and unheard of in rock music. It was heavenly. The absolute pinnacle that only Queen could do. Excellent reaction. Thank you very much!
Great reaction girl one of my favorites so much passion in his performance I love the piano vocals insane so perfect this man is from another planet and yes he was a romantic one singing and composing love songs and as I read alot about his life he loved very much Mary and only because his sexuality he turned to men the his heart always went to Mary he gave her all the love and trust anyone could have even his lovers asked him why can't he live them like Mary and he said it was impossible it was a special love and eternal one loved your reaction icannot wait for the next one
Think Freddie forgot a few words to the first verse,he was supposed to sing"It's The Chance you Have To Take with Love"and he sang "la la la la' or something.Maybe he was improvising,he was still brilliant.I could tell you were feeling this,Thanks.
@@paulr6881 lol The Mrs will remind you next time you annoy her it won't be long your actually name will be said at some point among the expletives probably lol
The whole rock in rio concert was the best ever especially when he sang love of my life... the whole audience sang with ... absolute hair raising reaction to watch
some credit must goto brian may on guitar especially since he handmade his own guitar with his dad from random bits and pieces he had laying about he still has and uses that same guitar even today.
This performance is amazing yet I get sad vibes when I watch Freddie perform .. like his heart is broken! 😞 Brian commented that he thought this song was one of Freddie’s best compositions!
Many of the best of all times in their chosen profession. For whatever reason. They often aren't as contented and happy in their private lives in one way or another as they would have liked and hoped for.
I love this song. Freddie struggled to find a person who would love him and be able to handle his hectic life as well as his sexuality. Freddie would fall in love and then things would fall apart for him over and over again. It was late in his life that he finally found Jim who was his last love, husband and who stayed with him to the bitter end. Freddie was in love with Mary Austin for over 20 years but due to his sexuality, he could not be a proper husband to her, though he always regarded her as his common law wife and they were also together to the end of his life. At one point, he was engaged to Mary but found it was impossible for him to be faithful so they ended their engagement. At that point, Freddie bought Mary a house across the street from him so that they would always be close and he kept her even closer by making her his personal assistant so she could travel with him and watch over his affairs. As Freddie put it, "we look after each other". Freddie also said that when people fell out of his life he didn't feel lonely because "he will always have Mary, and that is enough." When Freddie died, he left the bulk of his estate to Mary. When he told her he intended to do this she protested saying that it should go elsewhere (I think particularly with Freddie being married to Jim, she felt uncomfortable with the idea). Freddie's response was "If things had worked out the way I had wanted, we would be married and it would be yours anyway." So this song is very appropriate for Freddie to have written because where love was concerned, it truly was a hard life. I am not trying to pick on you but I am a grammar freak and you always say "Without further or do" the term is "without further ado" meaning without any more fuss or wasted time. Pronounced like you would think it should be as "Ah-Do." Sorry for the correction but each time you say it I feel the hairs bristle on the back of my neck. Thank you for reacting to this beautiful song and you are right, Freddie was so good on the piano, as a matter of fact, that was what sealed the deal for him when he was auditioning for the singer position in Brian and Roger's band "Smile." Freddie's vocal chops were not yet well honed (but his piano skills impressed Brian and Roger). Freddie changed that as soon as he heard himself on the playback of the demo tape the band had made. He was not happy with the way he sounded and started working on his vocals and kept working until he got them to where he wanted them to be.
When i've looked into Freddie's life i am always left with the feeling that Mary was, deep down, Freddie's true love. During the years he was ill if his doctor couldn't get hold of Freddie personally he would contact Mary and discuss Freddie's treatment, test results etc with her - that was obviously agreed with Freddie, it shows the level of trust and respect they had for each other
Freddie could really sing and paint a picture for you with his music , makes you take step back and listen and have a different outlook !!! Any reaction from you good 😊 reaction
Mia, if you find yourself with a spare hour or so, please lie down in a silent room where you will not be disturbed and place some good headphone over your ears and listen to the final Queen album 'Made in Heaven'. Freddie died during the recording of this album and Brian and Roger finished-off the vocals that Freddie didn't get to complete. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. But if I am asking too much, please do a reaction on 'Mother Love' from that album. And, if possible, please use headphones so you get the full benefit. All the best to you and yours, Mark. P.S. Subbed.
Once again. I never really get tired of Queen but........ you're probably due another break around now :) You seemed to enjoy the last Dire Straits song so how about trying this one. A very different vibe from the first but shows a different side of the repertoire. Romeo and Juliet (Alchemy Live). Same gig as last time but a mellower track.
Freddie wrote such beautiful love songs. Freddie was always searching for a real long lasting relationship. He had a lot of love in his heart. Great reaction.
a real shame that when Queen production releases a video as a tribute to an anniversary, it has no intention of restoring it and making it what it really is. I'm sorry that this video is not of a good quality if one day you will have time to watch the original video as well
one of the best. live performances. period.

Queen's lyrics always about something we can relate too!

Loved your reaction. Darling Freddie was all about feelings, emotion and love and that is reflected in his songs.

Not a song commonly heard but it's a another classic.

It makes others feel a little less inadequate to know even Freddie wasn't 100% perfect 100% of the time. Lol
