Same here; I drive an EV and plug it into my home charging station once every 1 1/2 weeks or so.

No. I used to. I lived there for 23 years and left 10 years ago. My advice to you is remember... All that glitters is not gold. Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. LA is the land of illusion. The people who look poor are filthy rich. And the people look rich are poor. People aren't real in Los Angeles. Los Angeles adds up to 1. It's hard to make friends because everyone is focused on themselves their #1. Everyone should live there at some point in their life. Amazing restaurants, lots of ethnic food. And you can take classes for everything. I took classes in glass blowing, makeup and screaming, to name a few.
You make a great couple!
And the bliss and joy for being together shows in your face.

Here's a tip, when looking for rentals don't wear an ACDC t-shirt. Because neighbours may say to the owner "don't rent to them as he will play loud music all night, and it will upset us". Wear smart casual, because you may likely be competing for a rental among other people. No offence, but I want you guys to be able to find the best available property.
