great video digger never been brave enough to use an airbrush the mixing was a great idea really nice how-to video stay safe and well all the best al 👍👍👍😄🌈
Its a great tool is an airbrush I suggest practice lots before you start on the layout, thanks for your comment my next video will be a but more in depth with the airbrush
Excellent, sooner or later we will ALL need those tips for old arthritic joints ....I'm forever saying to my other half, "How do little old ladies manage some of this packaging they sell stuff in these days?" 🌈😷🇬🇧
Hi ya Digger. Necessity is the mother of invention. Nice job with the paint mixer. The airbrush noise was not distracting. You voice was much louder. Nice tutorial. See ya next time.
Thanks Kevin Ok have a couple of airbrushes, honestly it's not as difficult as people think I'm going to do another video soon looking at airbrushing a bit more in depth, many thanks for your comment my friend
Hiya Shane I have a couple they are easy to use once you have a go with them, next video I will go into a bit more detail with the methods of airbrushing
What a good idea for mixing up the paint, I also find it painful shaking paint pots in fact I don’t anymore I just stir it to death. Is it a special clamp you have to fit in the jigsaw? Thanks, Mel
Hiya Milford, Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, the clamp is a standard small slide clamp that was a couple of quid from eBay, it needed a little grinding to fit well, the jig saw is a standard clamp that has two Allen bolts to hold blades, I just ground the clamp a little to the same size as a blade, not thickness though that can be left alone it's just hold the clamp in place, I can show it in the next video if you like, many thanks
Evening Digger, just watch this. Nice to see the Man him self. Are you in a shed or Garage? Looks a decent size layout. Is it a "U" Shape? Cheers Grant .
@@grantbassett2048 yeah i used to be in the house but wife got fed up and booted me out into the shed lol, I was just going to put up another shed at the side of this one and join the two together, your cellar is an excellent place for a layout and you could run a multi level layout with a wider base board and then a shelf style board above it
Hi Digger, I have a air brush but not used yet! only because I don't know how to, did you put anything in with paint, as I keep seeing expensive thinners for air brushers? All the best Glynn.
Hiya Glynn, this is supplied ready to use but can be thinned with ordinary whit spirit, as long as you clean the brush afterwards it will be okay, I'd have a practice first on some paper or card until you get confident, next video will be more in depth, many thanks
I love the video and the paint shaker is an amazing adaptation of tools. Great idea there. Thanks for sharing.

I've been mixing my paint like that for a few years now. Seen a video on TH-cam about it. Stay well. 👍
It certainly saves your joints from aching
I sure wish i had an airbrush. It'd make track weathering a sinch
Hiya Shane I have a couple they are easy to use once you have a go with them, next video I will go into a bit more detail with the methods of airbrushing
Damn genius.
Thanks you're very kind
Nice trick Digger! Last bottle of paint I shook up by hand went flying, maybe this will hold on better (or fly faster!)
Hiya Jeff thankfully I haven't had that experience yet ha ha

Hiya Grant my friend, yes my layout is in. Shed a tail chaser that goes around in loops, 16' x 8' but I have a plan to extend it
@@DiggerEvans haha, tail chaser!!! My wife said that sounds like sumat else..! Haha. I,ll watch more videos to see it. Your a wizz with air brush ☆
@@grantbassett2048 ha ha thanks mate, yes if they run a big loop we call em tail chasers
@@DiggerEvans Yeah i got the meanin. Id like loops myself, but not got the room, especially in my cellar. Ha. Im glad youve room to extend. ; )
