      nah, the only bad thing bout lexus is their lack of using turbos, they shouldve put a twin turbo v8 on that GSF and RCF

    Smooth ride, built for comfort, reliability and class over brute strength or pace

    they fixed some editing issues, for one, the cars cooley mentioned in the first 20 seconds had the wrong cars shown in the video. the rc and nx are switched on the first vid and they put an e class instead of a c when comparing the competition originally.

    • @DisneyMusicVideos
      @DisneyMusicVideos 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nhanleb1 I owned the car for a year & nine months, drove it for 21k miles & it was perfect with no problems as expected, but replaced it a year & a half ago with a white on red 2016 GS350 F-Sport partly cause I wanted a bigger car with more room & has been super reliable as well. Overall I like my GS a lot better as it's much more spacious rides better & even handles better despite being a bigger & heavier car, has nicer interior materials as well as the V6 which is a much better engine than the turbo 4 in my IS which was a decent enough engine, but the V6 has 70 more horsepower & sounds a whole lot better. It has over 30 more features than what my IS had, plus I see far fewer of them on the road that the IS.

    While the facelift is nice, the compact executive sedan segment has taken giant leaps forward with the 2015 C-class and 2017 A4. The cabin is starting to feel dated, and the platform is significantly heavier than the class norm which hurts fuel economy & performance.

    • @nissanskyline8950
      @nissanskyline8950 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Trades46 You have been bias and hating on the Lexus IS since the last video. Its ridiculous and not shocking I saw you here. I'll only agree with you on one thing - the C-class is advance and the most modern. Its literally the most up-to-date and modern of all the cars within the segment. However, it should be, because it hits close to 56K with options on it while other cars remind in the 40s. That's literally a 10+ grand difference, so you expect it to be better, no?
      Lets talk about a fair competition then. Audi A4 vs Lexus IS. Firstly, the Lexus IS cabin is anything but out-dated. It still looks modern. While the virtual cockpit is nice in the Audi A4, the interior center console is the true out-dated interior in this segment. Similar to the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4 literally has a bland and simple interior with a screen that is stuck there like an after-thought. If you ever compare the center console of the Audi A4 and Lexus IS together, the Lexus IS looks more modern, more welcoming/warm, and more luxurious.
      The Audi A4 does have slightly more features than the Lexus IS, I'll give it that. However, if you consider price and everything all together, the Lexus IS is clearly the better car overall. You might not get the HUD, LED turn signals, power folding mirrors and 360 top down camera, but you do get other things the Lexus IS has. And I also personally think the Lexus' LFA gauges are higher quality than the Audi A4's virtual cockpit. As much as I like the virtual cockpit, I think the graphics are dated looking and doesn't look as high quality as the Lexus IS LFA gauges.
      You throw a shade at the platform and chassis, but its because of the Lexus platform and chassis, the Lexus IS is the best handling car in this segment.

    • @Trades46
      @Trades46 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Grab it while you can; all of its competitors (A4, C300, 330i, ATS, Q50) all use 2.0 liter 4 banger with a turbocharger; kind of a trend these days. The 3.5 liter V6 NA is the last of its kind & will likely be phased out by 2018~2019 as the LS500 3.5 V6 will likely be transplanted into the IS (albeit detuned to ~375hp) in the near future as competitors keep increasing power.
