Love watching your videos. I had a bricklink store in about 2003 and we moved abroad in 2005. I sold my stock to a nice couple who were teachers . I still kept the space monorail though 😊. It’s been along time. But about 3years ago I came back.

Iain, I would love a video of say a years worth of sales and purchases or whatever you use to fund your Lego purchases. As an avid Lego collector and investor I have yet to actually set all any of my Lego investment sets and would love to see once the ball is rolling how that would work like in your case.
Yes, I've been thinking of doing a video like that, although I do try not to go on too much about how much I spend or make at the Brick Festivals. I have a full time job so am able to spend some of that on Lego - the rest of my spending money comes from the profit I make at Brick Festivals and I make a small amount from TH-cam as well.

Hi Ian, im hoping to do my first ever brick selling event this year, what advice would you give? ive got the sum up reader sorted, but some poor reviews on some of the brickfest events have been poor, are they the best or the other brick events? any advice welcome
Don’t confuse Brick Fest Live as that is a different company altogether. (And isn’t good). What I have see is some of the Brick Festivals are very busy some are not as busy. Same with NBE a lot have been busy but a few will be quiet. If you search TH-cam you will loads of reviews of them.
Hi. Brick Festivals are quite difficult to get into as a trader now as they tend to sell out of traders tickets within a few minutes of going on sale. National Brick Events are the other big Lego event organisers, so maybe send them a message - you will find a link on their website.
Iain, With the amount you spend on LEGO, you probably qualify for a retailer’s account from them. I don’t know what the wholesale is on LEGO, but I’m guessing 40% to 60% off retail. It would save you all the time and effort of hunting for bargains.
This is not an avenue I have looked at yet - I still consider myself a small to mid sized Lego reseller and it's still more of a part time hobby than a full time job. Hunting for bargains is part of the fun.

They can do them at any time. Some seem to do them at midnight, some do early in the morning, and some happen during the day.

George cancelled one of my sets as they had no stock but two others to collect.. but they gave you your Mac's that they cancelled on mine
I ordered 2 lots of 4 and they cancelled 3! So got my 5!!
