A lot of people are saying that this will be the next DOTS. But to be very honest, I don't think it's worth comparing to DOTS. I've watched a lot of kdramas before, but CLOY was totally different. It's definitely in a different level. I love how it was used by ROK as extension of its foriegn policy and how it played with Intl Politics. But what I love the most is the message that LOVE IS VERY POWERFUL AND IT CONQUERS ALL!! None of its episodes are boring, and you will experience a roller-coaster ride of emotions. You will laugh, be angry, be sad, be frustrated, and you will cry. Edit: Prepare tissues for EP 15-16 It's so good that it set my standards high for a korean drama. Very highly recommended. I’ve cried and cried so many times during the night, morning and even noon. That candle scene at the market made me soft on so many levels. When Captain Ri lit up the scented candle and lifted it into the air, it is as if he's telling Se-Ri that she'll always be back in his arms just as long as she looks at him. Despite the chaos, he will always be her home... the home that even her own family cannot give her.
Another highlight is their 2nd kiss. When he gets shot and she gives her his blood. He wakes up and she's outside in the rain crying. Why are you looking at me with those wistful eyes? See you're doing it again... The lead up was so damn good.
True! In my opinion maybe she was finding herself at the beach again lost & scared, no one to look for but somehow Ri found her even when her own mother abandoned her, & that's when she found her home in him
My personal faves: 1. Mr. Sunshine (all) 2. My mister (million roses) 3. Goblin (i will go to you like the first snow) I recommend you to watch the first two. Mr. Sunshine shows you what could Koreans pull out if they were given a fortune to test their skills. The second one is quite different from the Koreana cliches and focuses more on the reality. =)
The story depicts reality about fate. Crash landing on you makes you realize that if you're meant to be together, fate will really find its way for the both of you to meet. In this world, in any possible corner, you will definitely meet because destiny will find you. All the scenes of Capt. Ri & Seri in Switzerland not knowing they already met not even once but a lot of times during their stay there. Such a wonderful kdrama 👐❤
I have not been interested in dramas in over a year. Every time I start one, I lose interest and never finish. This drama is the first one in a long time that gives me feels and leaves me on the damn cliff to hang. Love this drama and their chemistry. She is also one of my fav actress along with him. CLOY fan from the USA. Got hooked on K-Drama's after spending a month in the Philippines last year. I've watched about 20 drama's so far with CLOY being my favorite, although Mr. Sunshine & Cinderella & the 4 Knights is a close 2nd and 3rd! Lived near Kunsan for a year back in 90-91 so the lovely people and country of Korea brings up happy memories for me! :)

yeah after their confirmation the knetz and even some of the people in the k ent. industry, are calling them now as TopStar Couple/the Nation's Couple/SuperTopStar Couple/the Nation's Treasure. Their own names are already powerful there, if you put them together, they become more powerful and really outstanding that can make them as a representative power couple of sk.

It's amazing how kdramas make the most impossible love seem possible. Sometimes I wonder if we're the ones who make everything difficult because we're so focused on the bigger, more impactful aspects and we leave the little things aside. Love is in the details, in the look, in the gesture, and only those who can see that are prepared to experience love. They are my favorite couple. I'd like to see them in another series, with a different story.
No matter what they say, the best actress in Korea is Son Ye-Jin. She makes you feel every emotion. In every series/ movie I have watched with her. She never fails to impress me. With every actor she has acted with, there is that sweet chemistry

Yay! Love this! I was so happy when these two got married. I've always had an ability to know when two people have chemistry, and not the superficial forced chemistry we see nowadays in most movies, like the real all-absorbing chemistry, and when these two announced their marriage I wasn't surprised but sooooo happy when I found out. Both their eyes are very expressive. I'm very curious but I'm glad they didn't show their child to the public and have kept their relationship private, bc as I read somewhere some people have a tendency to want to destroy beautiful things. I hope they last for all time! and fill those children and their home with so much love😊❤

i’m already shedding tears just by listening to cloy’s OSTs alone. i’m usually so hesitant to start on a k-drama because i’m super picky about whether the show can find the optimal balance between lighthearted humour and an accurate portrayal of true love (i.e., i prefer natural, beautiful, honest and gut-wrenching love that you can simply feel emanating from the characters even though i’m sitting behind a screen). cloy checks all the boxes for me. i found myself shedding tears at almost every single episode after episode 2 or 3. i cried not only because of the main characters’ longing and strength to continue their relationship even though there was a strong fear of the unknown, but also at how humanised the other supporting characters were - they were not only there to add humour to the show, they had soul. hands down the best k-drama i’ve ever completed. literally was submerged in my own tears 75% of the time, especially during the last episode.

Like seriously! I didn’t expect i’d be sleeping in the morning at 6:00AM for straight 3 days just to finish the drama! I’ve cried and cried so many times during the night, morning and even noon. I will *definitely* watch this again and again, even if i know what the outcome is like, i just can’t watch anything except this 😭😭 It just set the bar high up for me!

Despite the chaos, he will always be her home... the home that even her own family cannot give her.
Another highlight is their 2nd kiss. When he gets shot and she gives her his blood. He wakes up and she's outside in the rain crying. Why are you looking at me with those wistful eyes? See you're doing it again... The lead up was so damn good.

看完多年后，这部剧实际上已经渐渐淡忘了。 韩剧么，总是高富帅+白富美的设定比较多，周围好多朋友对韩剧都是这种印象， 觉着好看归好看，但不切实际。属于一种美好的幻想。 想想也是，剧里那么恩爱，现实怎么可能，不都是剧情需要么。 现实中这种爱情去哪找啊……
直到某一天，我意外在网上看到了这部剧男女主角在现实中结婚了的新闻……
我震惊了！
简直刷新了我的认知！
当然我知道他们未必是因为这部剧才走到一起的， 但这种剧中的情侣，在现实中结婚还真是小概率事件，这真的很魔幻。
感谢这部剧又让我相信爱情了。
听说他们现在也有一对孩子了， 将来孩子要是看到自己爸妈出演的这部剧，那估计代入感更强！哈哈

CLOY fan from the USA. Got hooked on K-Drama's after spending a month in the Philippines last year. I've watched about 20 drama's so far with CLOY being my favorite, although Mr. Sunshine & Cinderella & the 4 Knights is a close 2nd and 3rd! Lived near Kunsan for a year back in 90-91 so the lovely people and country of Korea brings up happy memories for me! :)

That saying really impacts this drama different huhu.
It's amazing how kdramas make the most impossible love seem possible. Sometimes I wonder if we're the ones who make everything difficult because we're so focused on the bigger, more impactful aspects and we leave the little things aside. Love is in the details, in the look, in the gesture, and only those who can see that are prepared to experience love. They are my favorite couple. I'd like to see them in another series, with a different story.

Yay! Love this! I was so happy when these two got married. I've always had an ability to know when two people have chemistry, and not the superficial forced chemistry we see nowadays in most movies, like the real all-absorbing chemistry, and when these two announced their marriage I wasn't surprised but sooooo happy when I found out. Both their eyes are very expressive. I'm very curious but I'm glad they didn't show their child to the public and have kept their relationship private, bc as I read somewhere some people have a tendency to want to destroy beautiful things. I hope they last for all time! and fill those children and their home with so much love😊❤

When the Camellia Blooms was good too and winners of Best Actor and Actress deserves it too, their acting in their respective dramas was promising so as Hyunbin and Yejin(not sure of the name)
this kdrama really bring us to North Korea that we'd never expected how would it be, besides telling us about their strict rules, living in a small village that doesn't make much progress, in a country that often cut off with electricity and house inspection regularly.... They taught us what a true siblings and family are. No need No Money, Love Needs One Person And Another. Thank You Crash Landing On You. And now I'm crazily crush on Hyun Bin. HOW?????!!!!!!!!
I found this part about North Korea interesting ... amazing how we couldn't imagine how it really is there and I was delighted with their union! Now I keep crying every time I hear the soundtrack! What to do? I also fell in love!

i’m already shedding tears just by listening to cloy’s OSTs alone. i’m usually so hesitant to start on a k-drama because i’m super picky about whether the show can find the optimal balance between lighthearted humour and an accurate portrayal of true love (i.e., i prefer natural, beautiful, honest and gut-wrenching love that you can simply feel emanating from the characters even though i’m sitting behind a screen). cloy checks all the boxes for me. i found myself shedding tears at almost every single episode after episode 2 or 3. i cried not only because of the main characters’ longing and strength to continue their relationship even though there was a strong fear of the unknown, but also at how humanised the other supporting characters were - they were not only there to add humour to the show, they had soul. hands down the best k-drama i’ve ever completed. literally was submerged in my own tears 75% of the time, especially during the last episode.
