On this channel, I'm going to talk about and SHOW you the Lake Las Vegas community, as well as the surrounding areas of Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Strip, Lake Mead, and great day trips not too far away. I talk about tips, trips, recommendations, the positives, the negatives, and answer frequently asked questions I see about these areas on the web. I am NOT a Realtor, so I am not trying to sway you towards any one particular builder or community within the Lake Las Vegas area. I've lived in Las Vegas and currently in Henderson / Lake Las Vegas.

Takes me back to when I spent a summer month there at the age of 10 with my aunt.
At night we would walk up to the hospital on a hill where my aunt worked. Image young kids walking the street at night with no fear.
Sounds like the good ol' days....but Boulder City is till relatively safe. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I love the old towns.a lot History in Boulder. We ate at Evans bar and grill but now they are closed
Stayed in Boulder City several years back. It was very nice and quiet.
I really like the 1950's era motels with their cools signs.

@@lakelasvegaslife7903 We really enjoyed it. After staying there, we headed up along the shore of the lake, and re-joined I-15 near Logandale. We also got to see Valley of Fire State Park. It was worth the stop.

Went through there last winter and was really surprised how it’s been upgraded. I’d really like a tour of those great homes up on the hill overlooking Lake Mead.
Visited our grandkids there, loved the tiny bowling alley and there are small mom and pop stores with craft classes and fun stuff.
Good morning from Old Naples Florida, I took a tour of the Dam in the late 80`s and the lake was as high as the dam...Love your videos, your one of the Best...Old Naples Fl. West Coast

Hi Lori! If you have a chance to go during the week, the wait might be shorter to get into the Coffee Cup Café. Next time I go it will definitely be during the week.

Another well done video, and perfect timing. I just booked my first trip to Boulder City Hoover Dam Lodge for next weekend and didn't even know the downtown existed.

I caught your channel from the lake Meade updates. I haven't lived in Vegas in quite some time but Meade was a very important place to me, a lot of memories with my late grandfather on that lake. Really sad to see it the way it is.
Your channel is really cute, very informative, been a long time since I've even visited but I'm surely making it before the least boat ramp in Meade is closed and I'll be using your channel to pick some other things to do besides casinos on the strip. Thank you for watching Sasha Ciaccio! If you go to visit Hoover Dam, you should stop by Boulder City for lunch. Boulder City was originally formed to house all the dam workers. It was first called Boulder Dam, before being officially changed to Hoover Dam.
