Pella Sash Replacement as a Pella Service Tech.

Replacing a Pella Proline window with a replacement sash. Pella is a company that has been around for many years and they still make parts for there previous models of windows (not to many companies can do that). I am a Pella service Tech and have been a part of the Pella windows family in one capacity or another for over 16 years.

This is nice. I live in the Boston area. Can you help me fix rotten sashes? They are pella casement windows. Obviously, I will pay. 🙂

It shows how easy it is to change out a sash. If you have a cordless drill some driver bits and a little common sense. You to could change a like for like sash. Sliders or single hung sashes are easier!

Yeah it’s not to difficult, there are instances when you replace with a new sash and find out how out of square the unit is, or a broken roto operator..but most of the time not to bad you are correct 😁

Do you know how the IGU comes out for replacement? Or does the whole sash need replaced?

Sorry for late response, yes the sash needs to be replaced typically. The IG unit could be replaced but pella won’t do that, only sash

couldn't do a thumbs up. Why? the video is interesting however lacks any commentary or detail that would help someone with no experience complete the task. rather, the video seems geared toward showing how fast someone who has installed countless sashes can execute.

its not meant for detail lol it was meant to show how fast i can do them since i have done countless sa.....ahhh i see what you did there ;)
