李小龍，本名李振藩（英文：Bruce Jun Fan Lee，1940年11月27日－1973年7月20日[2]），李小龍是國際著名華人武打演員、導演、武術家、截拳道創始人及著名香港粵劇丑生李海泉之子。李小龍是武术宗师叶问门生。李小龍生於三藩市唐人街東華醫院，年少時期在香港九龍生活，並且參與演出過多部香港電影。1959年，18歲的李小龍到美國留學、主修哲學，留學期間，李小龍邊開展武館授徒邊磨煉武術，又客串演出過多部美國電視劇。李小龍的努力表演改变了亚洲人在美国影片中的形象。1970年，李小龍獲得香港嘉禾电影公司邹文怀邀请，回到香港主演以功夫為題的動作電影《唐山大兄》而大获好評，李小龍迅速展開其知名度。此后他主演了《精武门》、《猛龙过江》、《龙争虎斗》及《死亡游戏》，此4部半动作电影震撼了整個影坛，而且在国际上迅速声名鹊起。
32歲的李小龍於1973年7月20日參與演出《死亡遊戲》期間，猝死於丁佩香港的家中，事件引起極大震撼，其死因至今依然充满争议。然而，李小龍去世後其聲威依然不減，李小龍的銀幕形象對全球華人以至世界各地均有影響力，李小龍的名字是武打電影甚至是中國武術的象，李小龍的電影亦常常帶有中華民族主義色彩。李小龍亦带领了香港电影冲出亚洲，走向世界，为香港电影积累了丰厚的资本、技术和观众，使得香港电影在1980年代開始风靡全球、为成为东方荷里活奠定了基础。
