wow a half hour pause for your woman, my man never calls me longer then 5 minutes. Thumbs up for that (it is for sure a compliment) Great video as always love that you do the surroundings too! Have a great week!
Interesting station with the old water tower and nice platform light stands nice tones from that friendly driver.I could not see those other trains, but Google maps showed what I could not see keep them coming Tornado
It's not for public use but next time you are there you'll see a nondescript looking door on platform 1 which kinda looks like it goes to nowhere it's got no door handle and you need a key to open it, and behind it is a flight of stairs which goes down to the throat of New Street station at the Derby and Stour tunnel end. You can see the staircase (and Moor Street station) as you arrive at New Street from the Derby side of the station. The door opposite the entrance from the concourse onto platform 2 if you are looking for it.
If you use Real Time Trains press/click the service you want to know about and it will show all the stations it will be passing and stopping at. Then if you press/click show service information, it will show you the maxium speed and the train Class.
I have done in the past but I don't usually look into the greater details of the trains physical working or class for that matter, I prefer to wait and see what is working the train :)
I think 168002 was the one that you saw coupled to another 168 going down to Birmingham snow Hill then coming back again finishing it's journey at Moor street then going down to London Marylebone I think I'm not 100 percent sure on that one I think it was i don't know

I like the old world feel of the station, they've not tried to modernise it to much which is something I admire
Great Video! :) Those London Midland 172s look like the 378s.
I can see a sparkling resemblance
Inane trivia: There is a door on Platform 1 at Moor Street which leads down to the mouth of the Derby and Stour tunnels at New Street.
What??

RandomNameHere why is it not open for public use?
Because it leads down to the mouth of the tunnels, not the platforms.
RandomNameHere oh it would be real useful if they put it to the waiting area
Have you noticed that the London midland trains class 172s has wheels like voyagers
I've never really looked to be fair
+Tornado922 the wheels on voyagers and class 172s are called bogies
They are build by Bombarider as well
Awesome Video Jarred. Never knew 170s went to Moor Street. Shame you never caught the 68 and DVT

They should make use for platform 5, but other then that awesome video, very descriptive.
I don't think platform 5 has any tracks on it. But I'm glad you enjoyed it

It could very well have been, I knew I had seen it going to Snow Hill but I completely forgot the other unit that came with it
What's ur favourite modern train providers/service (like south west trains)

+Tornado922 I think Virgin Trains look cooler.

What's the difference between a 170 and 168?
I think performance may be different as is the interior
Ok.
Should've waited 30 more minutes, you would've been able to capture the 1055 CR to London, which is always formed of a 68 with Mark III coaches :D
That's just sods law hahaha
what does ecs movement mean??
Empty Coaching Stock
I found a 3 car class 170 that is london midland

The Chiltern hills

Typing as I watch, you missed a 68 by a few minutes. The 10:44 arrival from London is a 68.
sods law really
you captured the same train(168002) THREE times, What are the odds of that?
At Stourbridge Junction last year, he captured the same train (139001) *four* times! :D
