Remember ladies this is for fun! I’m not telling you what to do. I’m merely encouraging you to take a look at your wardrobe with fresh eyes😊 Let me know if you found this video helpful❤️
We soo appreciate your opinion, you have such good advice on how to dress. You are a Beautiful and Classy lady that knows how to dress very well put together and age appropriate. Thank you.
In my view, the one thing that “frumps” a woman over 50 most is her hairstyle. That’s why the most striking makeovers always involve a chic haircut and color. Always. (And I agree with you on the large prints and pastels.)
Hi Sally! I love ALL your videos and sound advice! I have NEVER understood the 'cold shoulder top', SO it's great to hear that I'm not alone, in that! Thank you for all your tips and tricks, they are THE perfect guide to getting it right! Please would you consider a specific item on COTTON NON-WIRED-MINIMIZER-BRAS (available in the uk) my search for these has been ongoing, and exhausting! (worse than trying to find the perfect jeans), and far more demoralising! I just want a supportive bra that does not end up looking like MONO-BOOB!! because nothing is more frumpy than THAT! I often come between sizes, (32DD) for reference, and have been measured in almost every shop which provides that service. The last time this happened, the assistant said, there were no sizes, she could suggest, other than up a cup size, or increase the band size. When I asked her 'what can I do?', she said; "Eat more pies!" I know this was meant as a joke, but I left the store, feeling like some kind of freak-that a bra in my size, was not available. Am I asking for the impossible?! I don't want lace/bows/pink/or frills -just a regular, smooth bra, that supports my size and shape. I am a uk size 8-10 Sorry for this rant Sally, but seriously, I feel desperate! Hope you can help! Love Sue xxx ⭐❤
I agree with most of these tips. But I actually wore a cold shoulder sweater for the first time yesterday! I really think it looks good on me because it's form fitting. I try to avoid slouchy clothes because they make me look... well, slouchy!
Brings a whole new meaning to rear view mirror! Thanks for the tips. Always hated cold shoulder tops so fully agree! I remember my mum, when she was in her eighties, saying she wasn’t old enough for Velcro fastening shoes! I have always kept that in mind. Pleased to meet you and look forward to watching you again. Liz
You are spot on with all of these tips! I have felt that way about pastels for many years. They only look cute on babies and little girls. I don’t wear patterns either. I love all of your content, ThankYou!
I like prints. Only blouses, dresses, or sometimes skirts though. Choosing prints does involve another stage in the decision making process. You're not the first I've seen knocking them. I might have to create my own pro-prints channel. I won't I'm too lazy. 😊
I personally love pink in all its iterations, from palest pink to deepest magenta. That being said I always try to style it in a modern way so I don’t look frumpy. No cardigan sweaters for me, I just don’t look good in them, they make me feel old and out of date
Loved this video Well, I do have to get rid of my Velcro maryjane's from the hotter company. I love them, but they are worn out and frumpy so two somewhere else to go also Sally, you're such a lovely person. I really don't see how anyone can leave you a hateful comment no matter what you say . Thanks for all you do.
Great video. I agree with you on everything. I wish we women could put a little more effort on ourselves. I think it is important taking care of ourselves with self care and thinking what to wear to look and feel better.
So funny! 😂 I always disliked those cold shoulder tops. Pockets on jeans are important to view before the purchase. At 76, colors are super important to enhance the fading complexion. I use to always love 💕 head to toe black, now I look like walking death! Maybe you should do a show on colors and complexions. Also, really tight and really tent like clothes are a problem. 😂
I quite like that leopard print cold shoulder top 😂 but have to agree not a fan of cold shoulder fashion although occasionally have seen nice dresses and tops but not many
I agree with everything, except for the cold shoulder tops, they can cover a multitude of sins, and in my opinion they can look classy especially a pretty dress.
Deeper coop pinks give you a nice glow. Velcro shoes suggest you're way older than you are and have given up. There are lots of stylish slip-ons out there. Skechers come to mind.
Agree with everything you say except for the Cold Shoulder tops. I think it's a shame they have gone out of fashion as most woman's shoulders are a sexy part of arms and free of wrinkles ❤ men generally don't know what's in or out of fashion but say what they think looks good on women. My man likes them and so do I so I will wear mine.
I don’t think a half tuck will got out. It’s a practical solution which works to give shape. Yes I agree about pastels I think they’re very pretty just not on me🥰
Hey how did you get those pics of my bum? LOL. just kidding! I can't say how much I love this video. EVERYTHING about it. Every single point!! 💝💝💝 I'm learning fashion after major weight loss and the super oversized tops and jeans are driving me nuts, I want to show my shape but in an age flattering way. I love a bit of a crop in a top - and want to wear a higher-waisted jean but that one is tough as they tend to contour the non flat tummy. Would love to hear you analyze that one if you haven't yet. Thanks!
😂 love that! Magic shaping jeans are my best friend. They flatten and flatter. I’m actually not a huge fan of high waisted jeans I think they can make a tummy look bigger (for me anyway). I’ll be doing a jeans edit soon. Thank you for watching. ❤️✨
Yes your right they shapeless clothes are awful l love classic times less clothes better ad l buyed a very nice pair of leopard print shoes classy ones with nice strap l where in spring time thanks for your video Sally ❤❤

I’m in decent shape for 60 and never ever did like cold shoulder tops-- so with you!!
Thank you for watching 🥰

Thank you so much 🥰

Yes I totally agree 🥰

I’ve never liked cold shoulder tops!!!
Hate cold shoulder tops!!!

If you loved it then that is all that truly matters. Thank you so much for watching 🥰
I loved this video and agree with all your tips. Pastels have never worked for me and off the shoulder tops are a huge NO as well. Great video!
I’m so happy you like my video. Thank you 🥰✨

I look forward to your videos every week. I have brought a lot of what you show and follow your advice ❤
Hi Jayne (my middle name is spelt exactly the same 🥰) thank you so much for your lovely comment. I’m delighted you enjoy my channel.
Love pastels but I have very pale complexion and dark hair.
Great video…best to be honest! ✨🏄♀🌊🕊🙏✨❤
Glad you think so. Thank you so much ✨❤️
Thank you for giving examples that are better choices, that is helpful.
You're very welcome! 🥰
Great advice! At almost 70, I try to dress by these rules💖

Yes I totally agree with you. A small adjustment can make a huge difference. Thank you for watching ❤️✨
Btw I ordered today this Baccarat Rouge smelly like perfume from Amazon you recommend. Let’s see if I like it 😊.
Oh please let me know!
Always my fave vids!! 😂
😂✌️ so happy you like them
I love your videos! I learn so much from them. I want to look stylish and not frumpy so I am rethinking my pastels. Thanks
I'm so happy you enjoy my videos. Thank you for watching ❤️✨
I totally agree in Pastels 😅
Great video ❤
Thank you 🥰

Thank you so much for watching and commenting. Yes our complexion changes as we age so that’s a great idea for a show✨❤️
Agree with everything!! 🙋♀️🇺🇸👏👍🥰‼️
I’m so glad😅Thank you so much for watching 🥰✨
I’m looking for your video recommending a tool for face fluff from Amazon… I can’t find it on the playlist anymore …
It’s over on my Beauty Channel but the link is here amzn.to/3DXicXV
Ahh so its not so much the pastel itself but the design? Thank you.
Yes I think so. It makes a difference to me.
"It looks like you need help putting your shoes on!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤭😂😂😂
It may be classic, but Erma Bombeck said, I can't wear beige, I AM beige." Same. I look best in vibrant cool colors. Pasty People Unite!
Love this ✨❤️
I quite like that leopard print cold shoulder top 😂 but have to agree not a fan of cold shoulder fashion although occasionally have seen nice dresses and tops but not many
Haha I almost didn’t post it as I thought…hmm it’s not that bad😂 thank you for watching ❤️
Awesome
Thank you
Excellent video. Cold shouder, pastels, baggy, oversize, etc. ugh!
Thank you so much for watching 🥰
I agree with all of your insights! I can't stand haters. If you don't like Sally's recommendations, don't watch her videos!
Thank you so much for your wonderful support❤️✨
I think baggy clothes are baggy. The trick with pastels is how they are structured and not over doing it
Agreed ✨❤️
Agree & re: pastels - classic / " preppy " pieces are great for hot summer days & for pops of color in winter .
I agree with everything, except for the cold shoulder tops, they can cover a multitude of sins, and in my opinion they can look classy especially a pretty dress.
It’s all about personal preference at the end of the day. If you love yourself in a cold shoulder top keep wearing them. ❤️✨
Never “follow” fashion.
Understand what’s going on then go your own way.
Deeper coop pinks give you a nice glow. Velcro shoes suggest you're way older than you are and have given up. There are lots of stylish slip-ons out there. Skechers come to mind.
Thanks for sharing yes I totally agree. 🥰
Have NEVER cared for open shoulder tops!!!
Me neither
Why do the shops still have cold shoulder tops? I wasn't a big fan to start with.
I guess women are still buying them 😩
Getting rid of overstock ! Just like other trends , some will continue to buy & wear . 😅
Agree with everything you say except for the Cold Shoulder tops. I think it's a shame they have gone out of fashion as most woman's shoulders are a sexy part of arms and free of wrinkles ❤ men generally don't know what's in or out of fashion but say what they think looks good on women.
My man likes them and so do I
so I will wear mine.
Perfect. That’s exactly how it should be. Whatever makes you feel good 🥰
I was told doing the tuck is outdated now.
I'm not wearing pastels look terrible on me I am Autumn warm colouring so pastels make me look ill.
I don’t think a half tuck will got out. It’s a practical solution which works to give shape.
Yes I agree about pastels I think they’re very pretty just not on me🥰

I love this except that have no
Bottom and too much muffin too…so I got rid of wearing them and I’m Still alive🤣
Fabulous 🥰
There seems to be an issue with the audio, as I can't hear you...
I hope you can hear me now 🥰
When I was listening with my headphones on, I could only hear in my left ear
Is it wrong to be old or look old ?!
Yes your right they shapeless clothes are awful l love classic times less clothes better ad l buyed a very nice pair of leopard print shoes classy ones with nice strap l where in spring time thanks for your video Sally ❤❤
Thank you so much for watching. The shoes sound fabulous. ❤️✨
No sound. 😢
Sound is working, perhaps refresh TH-cam
It’s a lot harder to achieve when you are not as slim and pretty as you 🙂
I hope you can get inspiration here no matter what size you are. 🥰
Thank you - I hope so too
