I have gone solid on so many things since going carry on only...solid lotion, solid shampoo, solid face wash, solid serum, solid conditioner, solid toothpaste and mouthwash, AND perfume. It's excessive to some people, but it's SO much easier with TSA.
Hey, if it works for you then it works! I’ve played around with solid things when travelling for a long period of time and found it to not be my personal favourite, but I can see how it would be way easier with security!
Love this - toiletries and makeup are my biggest challenge when trying to pack more minimally, especially when going personal only! The z palette is so clever, since I feel like I have too large of a palette and only wear 2-3 shades from it.
Definitely! I have solid sunscreen sticks in every bag, automatically, being so pale and with tattoos I reapply all the time 😅 also have stain sticks for spot treatments, that’s in my emergency kit which is why I didn’t mention it here, but great points!
Great video! Newbie to your channel. I love traveling & camping and I love seeing how other people do it. A group of six of us are going on a cruise to Italy, Greece & Turkey in October & I'm counting the minutes until checkin!!!! -Michell from Colorado
This is so wild-I’m traveling internationally for the first time this summer and I’ll be doing the digital nomad thing for about 4 months. The toiletries thing has been stressing me out the most EXACTLY because I can’t imagine traveling without my trusty bumble and bumble root spray that I use for my thinning hair and it does not come in a travel size 🥲 Not only did you put me on to a new product, it’s good to know I’m not the only one having to think about that sort of thing ❤️ Do you mind if I ask how long the spray lasts you when traveling?
That is crazy indeed! I was debating even putting that in the video but decided to leave it in case it could help someone, so glad I did! Root spray will definitely depend on how much you use and how often you wash your hair, I’ve bought it a few times already and I’d say it lasts me Atleast a month, sometimes two, but I like that it’s relatively easy to get, Ofcourse depending on where you’re planning to travel.
Hi girlie! You shouldn’t take sunscreen out of it’s original packaging because it will alter the formula because of the UV exposure so maybe get a travel sized sunscreen so you can get the full protection!
Yeah I hate heathrow 😂 always giving me that damn tiny plastic bag, my things usually end up fitting anyway, but the rule is annoying for sure, I get extra prepared with this bag when I know I’m going to be flying through Heathrow
@carolinegarcia7182 oh yes I’ve heard the same! Definitely keeping an eye out, thankfully other European airports have also been relaxing liquid limitations 🙌🏻
Hi! Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks! I'm just wondering, does it mean we're allowed to take 2 separate pouches for toiletries and makeups? I'm thinking of either fitting them into a slightly bigger size than the quartz sized pouch all in one, or separating them. Do you have a preference? Thanks!
If you are travelling carry on only, you need to put anything liquid, gel or aerosol into one quart sized liquids bag, and anything else, ie, solid makeup, you can take as much as you want. There are only rules for liquids when travelling carry on only :) hope that helped!

You can pack however you like! There aren’t that many rules as to what needs to go where, besides liquid rules for carryons. I just never bring a checked suitcase, so all my makeup is always in my carry on
I’ve always bringing mascara , concealer and liquid lipstick( 6, 10 ml) in my make up necessaire and no problem at all … I live in London … the worst airport ever ( Heathrow )😂
@carolinegarcia7182 I find it to be really hit or miss as well, one time I got stopped for one small liquid lipstick that I totally forgot to put in my liquids bag, and sometimes I pass by no problem with a forgotten cream randomly packed somewhere 😂

Omg, not only the video but your Amazon storefront of travel essentials, thank you so much!
Happy to help! Glad you find it useful :)
I also bring solid sunscreen (similar to a solid deodorant stick). Laundry detergent sheets are great - for washing and for spot treatment on stains

Very exciting, enjoy your cruise!

In Heathrow they want us to put in their plastic bag that is smaller than that …
I always put inside their small one and then in my one like ours.😊

I have heard the rules will change in May / June this year for stuff with 200 ml so their bag can be bigger😂🤞🏼

Happy birthday lovely, hope you had a great day.
Thank you so much :)

I wanna take my eyebrow kit 😅 it's kinda bulky tho. Can that be placed in suitcase? Or all makeup needs to be on carryon?

Can you link where you got the clear quart sized bag?
Apologies! Link is now in the description :)
@@lifeofdanie thanks!
I thought mascara was considered liquid
I honestly go back and forth between putting it in my liquids bag and haven’t had any problems either way!
I’ve forgotten my mascara and liquid lip gloss in my purse and not had a problem, but you never know how picky they might be.
When it’s small things I’ve usually been ok, definitely depends on the agent and airport

This is more skincare and makeup
The title does state toiletries and makeup, skincare is toiletries
