Another great video. I really love your storytelling style. It's nearly 1am in Australia and I had to watch before going to bed
Thank you....I'm sorry I kept you from your well deserved rest!
thanks for doing this
My pleasure!
Reminds me of the reaction to the first development of the torpedo (as we know it today). The sudden ability of a small boat to mash up a much bigger boat! The result was - in the first instance - the creation of the ‘Torpedo Boat Destroyer’ which was later just called a ‘Destroyer’ (obviously). In the latter instance have destroyers now specifically designed to destroy incoming missiles and their launch systems. Plus ca change …..(innit)
Its a paradigm shift in military matters.
@@vandpubsell “Paradigm Shift” Yeah exactly- but why use two words when I can use 150?:)
@@geordiedog1749 Paradigm shift is a summation. You unpacked it brilliantly :)
@@vandpubsell oh well, if you say so:)!!
Excellent material and very well presented. Thank you for this.
Thank you.
Nice! I haven't heard much about early anti-ship missiles before the exocet/Falklands war, or about Arab-Israeli naval fighting, the forces on land and in the air get all the coverage... I bet they really could have sunk the USS liberty with one of these (joking)
I'm glad you found it enlightening!
Nice job, this was very informative and I learned something. Thanks
