    They were super hyped up for this game, especially Vince. I didn't notice when I was 15 yrs old but watching this I see his overthrows.

    It’s funny how close Texas snapped the 5 game losing streak and almost had a 5 game winning streak themselves if not for the close 2007 loss. Series really does go in streaks.

    they were undeniably the best team in NCAAF football that year
    saw it coming after going to Ohio St beginning of season and handling the Buckeyes...
    *...if rules that protect the qb today were in place for Vince? lol!!!

      I enjoyed the 2008 Red River, when Quan Cosby knocked Lendy Holmes into another dimension as Jordan Shipley scored.
      I was there, and You could actually hear Lendy’s soul leave his body lmao.
      Remember how that took y’all out of national championship contention, and then you still lost to West V at the bowl you actually managed to make it to? Memories, right?

    This was almost as bad of a loss as 49-0. Looking forward to more OU beatdowns like this in 2023 and beyond!

    • @miltonsmith974
      @miltonsmith974 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I loved how OU came back to beat Texas last year after that embarrassing 2022 curb stomping the Horns gave to us. That 49-0 debacle was the result of both OU being in a disastrous transitional year and our starting QB being out injured. We had so many QB's hit the portal after Lincoln Riley bolted that our back-up QB that year was so bad the coaches were reluctant to even let him throw the ball! What a difference one year and having our starting QB made. Wow.

      @@miltonsmith974 It was a good game and OU played well but you don't win if Dillon Gabriel doesn't play the game of his life. GG. See you again soon in Dallas. #hookem

      @@Chris-zg7ty Of course we would not have won had DG not had a great game. LOL! That's a "Captain Obvious" type assessment. A team generally wins if its QB has a great game. DG DID have a great game and we won. Looking forward to this year's game. OU-Texas is the greatest rivalry game in college football.
