In this acrylic painting tutorial ocean sunset video. I will teach you how to paint a sunset with acrylics step by step.
The scene for the ocean sunset painting could be a view from a boat or a beautiful sunset beach. It makes a lovely scene and an easy acrylic painting tutorial sunset beach video that is easy to teach and hopefully easy to recreate your own ocean sunset painting at home.

You can use canvas or paper for the acrylic painting tutorial sunset ocean but please have a hairdryer handy to dry your work in places. Acrylics dry very fast, but the hairdryer allows you to quickly dry your work in order to not make a mistake.
By taking your time with each stage you will learn how to improve your realism but also how to paint a sunset acrylic painting.

I love your videos! However, I'm having a terrible time blending the colors using acrylics! I keep my paint and brushes as wet as I can, without thinning them too much. I also use a couple of mediums - one to slow drying and another to make the paint more fluid, but they still look streaky. I've noticed you use more wrist motion, making your brush "lift" off the page, like a "C" more than a straight line. So I'm trying that and it helps. Can you give us anymore tips on blending? To me that is the hardest part, especially with acrylics. Thanks!
Hi Carol. The best person on blending is @colorbyfelixs here on TH-cam. He is excellent at it. I find it really helps to have a big soft bristled brush. As you can make x shapes with it and gently blend two colours together. But I will dry to show more on the tutorials. With your acrylics drying fast. You can use a mist spray bottle for plants. To give your palette a spray every now and then. Hope that helps 👍

I buy just cheap ones from a shop here in the UK so it depends where you are based? But I have put some similar brushes in the description box for the video. Hope that helps.
@@MSTEWARTPAINTINGS I'm wondering if she means what shape brushes? Most of mine are flat or round and pointed. Your blending brush look rounded and blunt.
What paint do you use. Im using liquitex and its so much more transparent than your layers
I use a company called Pebeo which is a European brand. Plus I don't use much water when I am painting so they appear thicker. I have put a link in the description box. But be aware they are cheap in price where I live in the UK. They might be more expensive depending where you are based.

doesnt look real to me at all cartoony but nice you can real with acrylic need oils for realistic
Yep, acrylics are more cartoony and dry flat. Where as oils have more realism and a nicer sheen to them. But thanks for the feedback 👍
