Hi Anna, I find that when removing the labels, rinsing the inside container with hot tap water helps to “melt” the glue, making it easier to peel the labels off xx

Hello, anna! I am glad to see the products you use to be eco-friendly! I saw in return of superman and was surprised by some of the eco-friendly habits your family has~ I try to bring along my own starbucks cup and bamboo straw if I know I am getting beverage while outside (as they can take up space in the bag and I try not to carry too much) but have stopped when stores stopped allowing your own cup due to covid-19. I still use my bamboo straw regularly thou, as it can be cleaned with hot water as well as normal dishwashing soap. But I still bring along my own tupperware to bag takeaway food (some places doesn't allow but a lot of the places I go to allow that) so I use them almost everyday. It's good to bring around those collapsible tupperwares so that it's easy to keep in the bag before using, and I used to bring around my own set of utencils too (in case the place I am dining at uses disposables) but stopped doing that as I stopped dining out often due to covid-19 restrictions. I was surprised to see you using bamboo toothbrush... I was given a free bamboo toothbrush when I first bought my bamboo straws and I found it hard to use as it hurts my gums. I hope to see bamboo toothbrush that I can use in the future.

I love this episode a lot. It is fascinating to see someone practice sustainable living in Korea as I have read a couple of articles before that South Korea is actually the biggest consumer of disposables, especially with its cafe culture that contributes a huge part of the country's plastic waste. This is why I am so delighted every time I see your kids bring tumblers when running errands in The Return of Superman. It's not really new, but it's still amazing to see. It shows that learning is practice. From a personal perspective, sustainable living is quite a struggle. It varies from people to people, availability, and cost/affordability. There are a lot people all over the world who wants to try and practice this kind of lifestyle, but a number of them is limited to what their country can offer. Locally, some doesn't have a lot of options. It can also be expensive for most, because as we all know, plastic is cheaper and that is why we (people, businesses, industries, etc) gravitate towards it. However, Though it may be difficult, it is not impossible. ...this lifestyle, I mean. Sustainable living. 😅 (That quote can also be applied in other things) For people who are taking an interest in practicing reducing waste, like what is said in the video, it is not meant to pressure you but encourage you. Baby steps! You'll get there! Have a great one, Anna.

맞아요~ 기숙사 생활하는데 요즘 밖에서 식사하기도 그렇고 기숙사 조리시설은 열악해서 포장해오게 되는데 일회용품을 너무 많이 사용하게 되더라고요ㅠㅠ 그래서 일단 집에서 가져온 수저를 사용하고 있고 앞으로는 크기가 되는 반찬통을 가져가서 포장이 가능하냐 물어보려고해요~ 안나씨 집이 칼국수를 포장해오듯이요ㅎㅎ 우리 아이들의 미래를 위해서라도 어른들이 많이 노력해야겠죠!!

I was surprised to see you using bamboo toothbrush... I was given a free bamboo toothbrush when I first bought my bamboo straws and I found it hard to use as it hurts my gums. I love this episode a lot. It is fascinating to see someone practice sustainable living in Korea as I have read a couple of articles before that South Korea is actually the biggest consumer of disposables, especially with its cafe culture that contributes a huge part of the country's plastic waste. This is why I am so delighted every time I see your kids bring tumblers when running errands in The Return of Superman. It's not really new, but it's still amazing to see. It shows that learning is practice.
From a personal perspective, sustainable living is quite a struggle. It varies from people to people, availability, and cost/affordability. There are a lot people all over the world who wants to try and practice this kind of lifestyle, but a number of them is limited to what their country can offer. Locally, some doesn't have a lot of options. It can also be expensive for most, because as we all know, plastic is cheaper and that is why we (people, businesses, industries, etc) gravitate towards it.
However,
Though it may be difficult, it is not impossible.
...this lifestyle, I mean. Sustainable living. 😅 (That quote can also be applied in other things)
For people who are taking an interest in practicing reducing waste, like what is said in the video, it is not meant to pressure you but encourage you. Baby steps! You'll get there!

맞아요~ 기숙사 생활하는데 요즘 밖에서 식사하기도 그렇고 기숙사 조리시설은 열악해서 포장해오게 되는데 일회용품을 너무 많이 사용하게 되더라고요ㅠㅠ 그래서 일단 집에서 가져온 수저를 사용하고 있고 앞으로는 크기가 되는 반찬통을 가져가서 포장이 가능하냐 물어보려고해요~ 안나씨 집이 칼국수를 포장해오듯이요ㅎㅎ 우리 아이들의 미래를 위해서라도 어른들이 많이 노력해야겠죠!!
소개글에도 있듯 나 자신이 완벽하게 실천하긴 힘들지만 지구 환경 보호를 내 삶의 한 부분으로 인식하고 있다는 자체만으로도 그렇지않은 나 와는 미래에 끼치는 영향이 다르다는 것을 확신해요
