Zach Sang interviews are always the best. He speaks to people in a way that comes off as curious (in a good way) with zero judgement which really makes people comfortable and open up.
Does anyone else feel like she talks about her mental health and stuff like that almost too much. Dont get me wrong i think its so important to talk about, but she seems to think so deeply about it and it almost seems like it consumes her. I feel like if i spoke about it so much, i would be sucked into a black hole.
LOL radio is irrelevant now they just play what's getting traction on streaming platforms. It helps hiring radio trackers when you have things already going with momentum. Lot of musically/tiktok/Instagramrs/youtubeers get initial traffic and then no one care. Even when it's a really good song. The radio decision makers don't care about an initial spike even if it's millions of plays/views they want repeat songs that people keep wanting to hear again and again for months to keep people tuned in even through annoying commercial breaks. Radio is a very specific format. Lot of artists avoid radio format for years at the start to build an engaged core fanbase.those who get traction off radio usually are people who wrote many succesful hit songs and are known by radio staff for years but they didn't want to be artists in the spotlight so they were kept in the shadows credited as writers. It's important to take time to develop skill of writing lot of really good songs then you discard them and keep the great ones. What separate the pros is they can write better songs then most even on their bad days with lack of inspiration. There's a lot of ressources available to develop these skills but people just don't take it seriously as they would for another career where it's tought you need to go through school programs, read books about, practice a lot Everytime you learn a new thing, then get good and find apprenticeships opportunities with succesful experienced people

This was suchhhh a great interview. Zach has chemistry with most everyone but this was especially great and I loved the vulnerability Zach showed too. You guys hit such a wide variety of topics and I never once felt like I needed to check how much time was left or got bored. I even logged in on my phone just to comment (after watching on my TV), so really really great interview guys. So impressed with Gabbie's growth, introspection, music and honesty (esp about the reality of how the meme got to her after the initial laughs it gave). Also, while Gabbie wouldn't say it, the universal conclusion by literally everyone else on YT is that Ricegum is in fact a terrible person. ....and continues to be even after he stopped bullying kids on the internet. I have a question, when gabbie said no one shouldn't become a TH-camr just for the sake of the lifestyle it'll provide you, and that you should start it because you have a passion of helping out people, do you think that's true? Because I really want to become a gaming TH-camr so bad but what she said has me second guessing my choice, I mean I want to go to college of course but, there's this person who inspires me to do TH-cam, should I still do it anyways if it means I'm not helping or benefiting someone's life?

Gabbie gives a LOT of chances to and makes a LOT of excuses for the people in her life who violate her boundaries and hurt her. It's really sad, actually, and it worries me. Now, it is also true that there can be beauty and virtue in forgiveness and grace in giving get second chances, ofc, but my impression is that Gabbie still is learning how to put herself first and REQUIRE a certain level of treatment...and she's SLOWLY making progress in that direction but she's nowhere near there yet. Regardless of ScooterBoy/Spencer's virtues, it was VERY immature and selfish of him to behave as he did. He was RECKLESS with Gabbie's heart, and he VERY CLEARLY put HIMSELF FIRST, placing EVEN HIS EGO and FRIVOLOUS WHIMS and self indulgence ABOVE GABBIE'S FUNDAMENTAL WELLBEING, DIGNITY, and not to mention the SAFETY of engaging sexually (?? potentially) or pursuing along the path toward sexual relationships with multiple partners/girls at once, without telling them... It's, as I said, very selfish and crudely reckless behavior. It always galls me when I see the type of dishonesty or betrayal where one partner is putting their ego and material/physical needs ABOVE ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING in their partner's life. It's rotten, no matter the cause, excuse or reason. Gabbie did not deserve that, period. But she's sooooooo forgiving and accepting of these very fundamental and significant betrayals. She finds a reason to forgive it AND EXCUSE IT, and let that person back into her life, and her heart. But dtill, I feel like she's getting better and slowly accepting less maltreatment and requiring more respect and setting a higher bar for the people in her life. Spencer's still A HUNDRED MILLION times better than that manipulative, abusive, pathologically lying POS from Oct 2017 to 2018. That guy lied thtu his teeth to work his way inyo hrr life and her heart, and as SOON as he planted his roots in her heart and mind, he darkened her skies almost immediately. I could see she was suffering and sad and being torn apart inside from a hunnit million miles away. I'm currently 14 and ever since I was 11 I've had terrible (and I mean terrible) acne. I always thought it made me ugly, and part of that led me to a really dark place. I knew that I would eventually learn to love myself but at the moment I really hated the way I looked. that led me to start starving myself. I was 5'8 at the time and weighed 100 pounds and I wanted to weigh less. I realized that that was in no way healthy so I started forcing myself to eat healthy amounts. I'm now 5'10 and weigh about 125 pounds and I'll still be happy if I gain more. My acne was getting worse though. It was only a few weeks ago that I was able to look into the mirror and say "you're beautiful" and mean it. It's taken three years and I'm so glad that it didn't take more. I know that I still have a long way to go to fully accept my body and the way it looks but I've started that journey and I'm not stopping

At 39:54 my parents could totally understand that because that is how they fell in love. They were friends for 21 years and had the same awful home situation so they found comfort in being able to talk to someone who understood. I envy that connection so much because they have been married for 16 years and never have had a fight where they were mad at each other for longer than an hour. I never understood that kind of deep connection because I keep so many people distant. So who knows, Gabbie might have found the one; they just need time.

I'm so glad u didnt give up YT gabbie♡♡♡♡♡ and I'd actually be really interested if u made more psychology videos. it doesnt have to be all scholarly (w ur degree) but u fuckin KNO what tf you're talking about and r so self reflective which REALLY helps people. ( I love therapy and psychology as well.) its REALLY cool to to hear someone talk ab it so casually & connecting it thru your life / life lessons -vs ppl like Shane's therapist friend who has very educational videos. it was so nice hearing u talk this much as a chill vibe vs your wild story times hahahaha (which I also enjoyed).

I'm currently 14 and ever since I was 11 I've had terrible (and I mean terrible) acne. I always thought it made me ugly, and part of that led me to a really dark place. I knew that I would eventually learn to love myself but at the moment I really hated the way I looked. that led me to start starving myself. I was 5'8 at the time and weighed 100 pounds and I wanted to weigh less. I realized that that was in no way healthy so I started forcing myself to eat healthy amounts. I'm now 5'10 and weigh about 125 pounds and I'll still be happy if I gain more. My acne was getting worse though. It was only a few weeks ago that I was able to look into the mirror and say "you're beautiful" and mean it. It's taken three years and I'm so glad that it didn't take more. I know that I still have a long way to go to fully accept my body and the way it looks but I've started that journey and I'm not stopping

At 39:54 my parents could totally understand that because that is how they fell in love. They were friends for 21 years and had the same awful home situation so they found comfort in being able to talk to someone who understood. I envy that connection so much because they have been married for 16 years and never have had a fight where they were mad at each other for longer than an hour. I never understood that kind of deep connection because I keep so many people distant. So who knows, Gabbie might have found the one; they just need time.
