The other thing I see is that it seems like what Stroud is doing are signs of sustainable success. He is playing good football, he isn’t just taking advantage of some trick that teams can easily adapt too. He is just playing good football which is promising for his ability to keep it going especially with time to develop and improve on the areas he needs to improve.

The Texans didn’t win the division for 2023 when they beat the Colts in week 18. They won the division the next day when the Titans beat the Jaguars.

Need to correct one thing, the Texans and the Colts weren't playing for a division title. It was for a wildcard spot, the only reason that the Texans won the division is because the Jags blew it and lost to the Titans the following day.

@@DraftingUnicorns Definitely, but what makes Stroud's rookie season all the more special in my opinion is that this was just for a normal playoff game at first. The glory of winning the division wasn't even in anyone's mind when the game finished, everyone was just excited to finally bring the team back to the playoffs after a terrible collapse in 2019.
