This band was so underrated, simply cause they were never advertised in North America. Their sound is so good and went heavily unnoticed. Only found out about them cause of an episode of Lilyhammer

@pilotintraining2391 you should visit this Norwegian town Lillehammer😉 It`ll be a music festival there 19.08.23 where the band Bigbang is also participating.

It's difficult to discover anything relating to this fine band via TH-cam or Google, at least from here in the USA. (The band's varying spellings of their name make it easily confused with other, similar bands' names.) There's a MUCH wider market for Øystein Greni's great music, certainly, were it not so frickin' hard to find!!!
That's good to hear! (I tossed out my last TV set decades ago.) My personal favorite is their "Cigarette," despite having long since traded cigs for vaping.
@@ChollaRanch after listening to them for over 2 years a while back I stumbled across Cigarette. As a non tobacco smoker there is something so rock and country that just makes it impossible to not listen to. One of their greatest songs in their inventory
@@primtones All the artists on Hver gang vi møtes create their own version of the different songs they cover, in their own style. That's the whole point of reimagining it. Just because Tix's version is in a different style from the original doesn't mean he "doesn't know what he's doing." Greni and Anna of the North each did versions of Tix's songs that were very different from the original and they were great!

It was not the same song, Tix made a new one with loosely translated lyrics because he don't know what he's doing.
