It's really funny how u had such a hard time at this game, I beat this game on hard at like 10 years old several times easily, I think u just have trouble adjusting to odd mechanics. Not that this game is good. At all lol. Idk it seems like a lot of game critics like this get so frustrated they don't even try and then just compound more frustration instead of thinking around it slightly. Although there's plenty frustrating about this game this review is the king of exaggeration and helpless frustration it seems like lmao

@@Yohan99999 ...Eh? Haven't played it in years, but I remember it being alright, Nothing great, nothing abysmal, just fine, perfectly playable, even pretty dang fun in places. Also it's kinda meta, the entire thing is a game within a game, the Main characters of chicken little are playing the game, so it's kinda like you're controlling them controlling ace in action.
Just not the DS version, I have NO clue what that one's like

I love how "A PONY" is in all caps, and then right below it in tiny little lettering is just "a gun"

I played a looooot of these Disney games when I was a kid. They were all like this. Either they have three levels repeated ad nauseam, or they had 14 levels, with 14 different play styles.
The first one also applies for their Turok game

Man, though I never played this game specifically, the billion and one different gameplay styles really brings me back to the glory days of licenced games.
Also that mech section actually looks so close to being fun it hurts.
Also also, that's a very good method of determining how well known a character is, good call.

Yeah, but the problem is that he's probably the weakest of the actual meta, like "Era of the Five Gods" Hungrybox was in Melee. Sure, he's good, but it's tough when you have to compete against people who use things like Heihachi decks. And if your opponent is using a Zeus deck, you might as well kiss your ass goodbye
See the thing is that like a few metas back a pure buck cluck deck would have been top tier if it wasn't for the fact that Cotton Hill decks were tier zero and the only deck that could really counter it was Shou Tucker decks. Now the only way Buck Cluck is meta is if you splash it with the Ghetsis engine but at that point you might as well just play pure Ghetsis.

Ohhhh my god I was OBSESSED with this game as a kid! I would play it every single day, and I remembered every stage from this video. Thanks for totally ripping in to entire childhood, it was hilarious. I was also equally obsessed with the Madagascar and Cars games you briefly showed at the beginning and would love it if you made videos on those too!

I think I have gotten through it once, though unfortunately never beaten the game dispute playing the game when I was younger.
Thanks for letting me relive my childhood trauma, good to know there's a reason why I never remembered anything about this game past the first mech stage.

I can not stop thinking about “Abusive Dad Yu Gi Oh”
I played this game alot when I was a kid. I just found your channel and watched 2 videos. I'm hooked
Dang, I remember playing this game as a kid. Never completed it, but none of the levels I played were excruciatingly difficult. Maybe it's because I chose anything but Hard and I'm thankful for that.
Now do the sequel! Also damn you were definitely on point with the jokes in this video lol

So oddly enough, the only memory I have of this game (that wasn’t locked away and buried for almost 15 years) is the first driving level.
For some reason, I was playing this level with two of my cousins, and instead of trying to complete the level, we instead decided to imagine that the character driving (Throw me a bone, I haven’t sat down and watched this movie for about a decade) suddenly gained an obsession with driving the car into mailboxes.
Someone started talking? Smash a mailbox.
A car appeared? Drive into a mailbox.
Drove into a mailbox? Smash another one.
I don’t remember why, but we were just constantly laughing as we were doing that gag for almost 45 minutes. It is oddly one of my fondest video game memories.

Why did I love this game as a kid? Kid me thought that the controls in this game were the best of the best.
Nah I played chicken little gameboy because the dogeball minigame was that river city ransom spin-off with the dogeballs.
This makes me glad I never even got through the rhythm minigame when I was a kid
Tbh the carpool level where you have to rush to get home but the characters themselves keep finding excuse to pad out the level sounds like it could be a kinda clever joke if it was executed better

So I got recommended your Punch Out video and checked out some of the others you got… and can I just say… why do you have such a little amount of subscribers?! I’m lovin’ these videos.
Also; if you want to subject yourself to… a questionable time, play Monsters vs Aliens for the Wii… trust me, it’s more of a train crash then it sounds. But I recall having a good time with it as a lad so it may be more tolerable then this.

Hard mode just changes the amount of acorns you need to collect for an extra life. Everything else is the same
We all know the only good piece of media that Chicken Little has been is was KH2
So based on what was shown, I’d say there are anywhere between 11 and 14 different gameplay styles for this one game. I say there’s a range because it depends on if you count certain levels as different styles, such as Abby’s level, the anti-gravity chamber, and the WILD GOOSE CHASES.

God I barely remember the sequel game. But it is also the only one I played so I'd be curious to see what happens if you go through it. I'm pretty sure that there is at the very least, fewer playstyles
God I have a distinct memory of owning the Chicken Little game on my PS2 and getting the disk so scratched up somehow it wouldn't load and I legitimately cried over it. Good times.

Back in 2005, I had Chicken Little for my Xbox but hadn't beaten it yet. A burglar broke into my house at the time and he stole my xbox with all my games included.....I can now say without a doubt at least he saved from playing the rest of this game 😅

Honestly, Chicken Little's dad and Springtrap are the only characters I recognised in that joke, but it definitely made me chuckle. I think the guy with the glasses is from Evangelion, and I'm very sure the guy with the ridiculous hair is from Dragon Ball Z.

I feel like a lot of hurt could've been avoided if you played the GBA version of this game. That one is surprisingly much more fun and less likely to break your spirit. All the same this was a great watch to know I was not alone in thinking this game was poor and I wasn't just bad at it.

Here's a fun fact, this is one of the final games to ever be made backwards compatible on Xbox consoles. Microsoft could have fought for the rights to make games like jet set radio Future or any of their other classics that aren't playable on modern consoles backwards compatible, but instead one of the last original Xbox games made playable on new consoles was a game based on the worst Disney movie.
Am I the only one that likes (still do, actually) this game? Granted I played on the easier difficulties where less acorns gives you more health and checkpoints where more plentiful, meaning less headaches.
