Well it gets kinda annoying when there are like 50 12 year olds bolting around in their horrifyingly scary cardboard suits squeaking almost constantly
@Tamizon, Not cardboard. The suits have a foam base, with fake fur on top, as well as other materials like plastic and felt.
In my opinion, they're adorable, not scary.
And Most of the suits don't squeak, and that's what makes Telephone unique.
Smol Fluf I know It’s not usually cardboard. Telephone isn’t really unique anymore(and I hate saying that) because a bunch of new kids that are in middle school are making crappy suits(which is fine) and buying squeakers and using them constantly, and they think it’s cute, but I see like 25 kids like that in whatever convention I go to and they just wreak havoc on the whole space. That’s why I don’t usually find the sqeakers “cute.”
Tamizon oof of the suits are ‘that’ bad then, idk I get why it can be annoying I’d be wayyyy more comfortable if only they would at least not have to squeak all the time or, go into peoples space because they know they can be annoying so, I feel you.

Here we see two Dutch Angel Dragons engaging in a usually D.A.D greeting.Sniper however is a different species (I like to think Quadsuits are a subspecies).While telephone walks on two legs Sniper walks entirely on all fours like a horse.Telephone has not seen a Dutch angel dragon like sniper in her entire life and she is unsure about what to do.She is scared of this newcomer and hides In a ball pit.Sniper tries to coax her out but to no avail.Telephone then brings out a magical pink saxophone that she magically has and sniper loves the sound it makes.Sniper and Telephone are now best friends.

My friend created a REALLY cool quadsuit and it had 2 harnesses : 1 to lift their head for better vision 2 to have a sturdy back, so yeah I got to ride a quadsuit around a con for most of the time :DD

Well think about it from another perspective. When in your entire life, can you change your appearance and perform as another character other than yourself? Wearing a full costume and playing a character, is a very rewarding thing. It's actually quite amazing if you do it right because you get lost in the character and you put smiles on quite a few faces in the process.

14-18 is a good age to get them. You can get one when you're younger but they're expensive and you'll grow out of it. If you want to learn more you can look at some maker's websites.
When you will be 100% sure you stopped groving, or you will need to change costume every 3 months, that's expensive
I'm actually planning a similar quaddrupt costume. but pictorial support from others helps me a lot.
