Great guide that covers major pillars of wealth accumulation! I appreciate mentioning investing without exposing specific niches. Two things that I didn't see mentioned are alt parking as part of the daily routine (can net a few gold within a few minutes) and weekly key farming. While key farming isn't the best way of making gold/mats directly, it is surprisingly high value for accumulating wardrobe unlockers (save them until you unlock all the cheap stuff), statuettes, and a decent chance at the rotational chest exclusives which all add to overall account wealth.
In the daily routine videos that Muk and I have.. alt parking is mentioned there! I wanted to focus on the major points in this guide.. and giving a good reference to other videos for people to expand on
Great guide MM! I know players have been asking you for this and you delivered. Very cool that you gave shout outs to other content creators as well! Best, Ghost Of Legion
Wow! This is so mind-blowing! I am so glad I know how to make gold like the barons now. So glad I'm an MM fanboy cus I get notified about videos like this! Keep up the great work MM the Sheikh of the TP.
Great video but if you could lower a bit the music in the background. Maybe that's just me but I sometimes have a hard time hearing/focusing on what you say because the music is at the same level as your voice.
Just a heads up, when talking about the Silverwastes farm, you stated spirit shards and not obsidian shards (around the 3:45 mark). Although it is fantastic experience for spirit shards, I'm sure you meant obsidian :) fantastic overview of gold in Guild Wars 2!
No, he meant spirit shards. Spirit shards are valuable when it comes to making gold, and there's no correlation between farming experience and gaining obsidian shards.
@@andrewdoudna4911 for starting players, spirit shards are needed for promoting mats (t5 to t6) to get their starting armor crafting going. Base mat costs like t5 has traditionally been rock bottom value for a long time, so the profit margin (difference in value between output price and input cost) represents the value of the spirit shard in the form of philosopher stones or mystic crystals. This also underscores how important ectos are in the economy because it is needed in almlst every recipe involving spirit shards
@@andrewdoudna4911 Who tf does sw for obsidian shards? U get so much karma in this game , if i could i would trash it, so u just can buy Infinite amounts of obsidian shards, spirit shards gives gold, thata important..
Would you say WvW for Tomes of Knowlodge is better or Silverwastes better for spirit shards per hour. I need around 400 and not sure where to go, other than doing daily fractals
Dragon Stand meta also gives 4 for the meta and another 3 for the treassure mushrooms after the meta. + if you are maxed out on masteries the xp builds up to a spirit shard. I mosty do the meta once a day for arround 10 spirit shards.
yeah... same here.... i'm trying to understand but i cant understand shit, i guess ill have to play like 5-6 months of guild wars 2 before actually understanding some of what he said, but the guide is really well made for those who know the items and everything he talks about.

We've taken a big step up in the music department.

Yeah not sure why the audio gain increased. The same file I used to upload the video, the volume seemed fine
Link to the Time Gates Mats video, noticed it wasn't in the description (unless I missed it) th-cam.com/video/y-IjqE4RhOw/w-d-xo.html
Updated, thank you for letting me know!

Yeah I meant Spirit Shards, best yes Obby Shards are a good plus as well. Thank you for mentioning it!
Sorry, I heard you talk about legendary armor and weapons, which require obby shards, and RIBA is specifically for that.

i hope ppl start to do 96 fractal farm cuz is the most profitable imo
Yea well when i look on lfg and see it they ALWAYS EXPLICIT ask for exp people
Great guide, ty :)
Happy New Year!
Whats your outfit layout? I see grenths hood but I thought that was a outfit only item? As a whole set.
Hey, the hood is also a helmet skin on it's own. Grenths Hood, they release it every Halloween on the gemstore
@@GuildMM thank you. I'll make sure I log in next year then. Bummer that I start playing this winter:/
I make about 13-12-10 gold a day is that ok?
Been playing for 1 week and am finding the lack of gold I'm getting frustrating!
Great guide!

I'd go for SW, WvW will depend on who's commanding and if there is anything going on.
SW has consistent activity throughout the day

love it
is silverwaste still a thing? i joined the game couple days ago but i don't see any groups in lfg
Look in the Central Tyria section for "RIBA" - that stands for the order the four outposts in Silverwastes are done (Red, Indigo, Blue, Amber).
I'm really new to the game so this is very confusing.. Maybe I'll understand later, great guide tho!

The music is to loud IMO
