When I brawl against a KV-4 at Yamato Harbor I trapped him on a corner next to those two bridges on the Yamato, I died and he can't get out and got killed by my teammates as well, I laughed and post it on my group at FB
But I prefer kv 4 over vk cause the cupola on the vk is on the side of the turret. Thus while sidescraping it is very difficult to hide it whereas kv has the cupola in the middle. You can easily hide it and it's sides become really troll if you over angle it

Maybe I replied very late, but KV-4 fuel tanks are weak and I have over 850 battles with it,if you angle your hull like 35°-40° No one can pen you unless they load gold shells and some tds, that's an underrated monster....
The kv4 is a pretty good tank. The armor is decent and it has a greater speed than vk (when maxed ofc). I use it for rating, it's pretty good. It's very easy to bounce shots also, even in tier 9 battles.
