So are the drones 100% computer controlled during the show?

well during the show, whole 300 drones are only controlled by 2 operator, they claim they only need 1, but another person is just there as backup in case things goes wrong, i think they just program the drones with a 3D mapping and just press the play button,

Those are preprogrammed, where swarm is a network with communication and decision making capabilities. Nevertheless looks it looks amazing!
