Hello Liza! I encountered the phrase "run into", it was spoken by a certain singer who was interviewed during a night show and he was telling a story... he said,... "I ran into [someone] a few years ago at the park..." and when I google it, it means that when you bumped someone you know along the way unexpectedly... I was very surprised because as a non-native english speaker, we don't understand it, and it's new to us for most of us, I'm pretty sure... for this situation, we usually say "we bumped each others' path accidentally at the park..." which sounds very long, though very understandable esp. to non-native americans, but with this, this is a great addition to my vocabulary inputs, what do you think?
You are so resourceful 😘. Could you make video lessons about linking words, please? Adverbial clause. I mean, I have read this topic but could not get 😒 It's tough to use them in speech

Hello Liza. Thank you for the video.
Can we still say "I'm running late for work" even if we're driving or taking the bus ? Or it should be on foot ?
I think running late means generally you are late for sth. running doesnt literally mean you are running bc you are late, it means u are in a hurry
@@suridinh3377 this makes sense . Thanks
