Spores are also really tricky to get rid of when it comes to getting rid of them. _Bacillus megaterium_ is an microorganism that forms spores, that while using hand sanitizer does kill on contact, doesn't kill any _B. megaterium_ beyond the zone of inhibition (ZOI). For this microorganism in particular, lysol & crystal violet are great for also killing off the spores. But hand soap is better than hand sanitizer (as it kills on contact and you're also washing your hands). This microorganism isn't dangerous to humans (though infection may happen, it'll be rare because you wound up getting physically injured) but does highlight that while the microorganism may be killed, it's entirely possible for spores outside of the ZOI to be unaffected and begin to grow inside the ZOI radius if not dealt with using the proper means (hand sanitizer vs hand soap).
I wonder what the artist who made the sculpture that this SCP is based on feels about his work forever being associated to this random internet writer's story XD

I agree, while Volgun gives the superior immersive scp experience, the exploring series gives a far better explanation of the lore. I love Volgun’s voice acting, but for SCPs that are lore-heavy and have lots of references to other SCPs as well as concepts, tales, or groups of interests, I’d usually recommend watching the exploring series. He also makes videos about multiple related SCPs, and he has a good narrator’s voice.

I think it's time for Alicia to be introduced to the Confinement series created by Lord Bung, if it is still available on TH-cam.
Oh man if not for anything, then for the fucking drama please. It was so insane I'm surprised no one's talking about it now.
The creature under the table was probably a dog, or the majority of it is since this thing likes to mix and match between the infected.
Ya know... This one makes me question something. Remember the bodies on Everest? What if they were released on the flesh that hates? Wouldn't the fact that they leach all the heat from sources mean at bare minimum that they could prevent the infection from progressing and spreading?

Guy in chat says that he wonders if they have strip clubs, and I was immediately reminded of SCP-1472 “The Multiversal Strip Club”
34:32: FLESH AMUSEMENY PARK!? SOUNDS LIKE MY KINDA PLACE!
science for the science GOD!
My recommendation is what happened to site 13 but it's really long.( I maens about 3 hours for the whole thing.) Mr illustrated dose a good job telling you the whole story and explaining it
You know this SCP reminds me a lot about the Blacklight virus from the game series Prototype.
I commented before but SCP-087 "The infinte staircase" really scary and fun.
Gotta love that mr illustrated is going to do a scp 610 remastered
8:02
That realization hits hard.
Yeah... This one is fucked up.
I guess we need to throw the Flood in here too now.
Feel lowkey sad for the infected that died who didn't go into the sinkhole. I hope the making out couple fleshlings made it
Basically crimson biome in terraria
There is an analog horror series with a similar vibe to this called carna vitus.
There is a story in the scp universe where blossoming happens called SCP 7004 If your interested.
Hey, this is my first SCP! The one that dragged me kicking and screaming into the rabbit hole with its tentacles.
My mission continues to request SCP-1762 “Where the Dragons Went” by the Exploring Series or The Volgun
This shit is basically the Flood from Halo if it had some crazy ancient apocalyptic cult attached to it. Thats my summation, thank you.
scp 1762 is a really good and sad story, "where the dragons went"
if you dont want to watch the full hour and 30 min vid, the stroy breakdown by tale foundry is only 20
No don't make her watch that one it skips a lot of the emotional points its only good if you have already read the longer article
@@elusive-osmium are you talking about the tale foundry vid, the rest of it might be good but there is zero chance she's sitting through an HR of beastiary content
@@MerchantKaneshe could split it into parts like this one
@@elusive-osmium I mean I suppose, I just made a suggestion depending on if they want to do it or not, all things considered this comment won't be seen
"This would be a sick video game" I would like to Introduce you to prototype
I can not recommend scp 001, the gate guardian, enough. It's so good. I like the scp illustrated version the most.
The best 001 proposal to this day
I really want Alicia to check out SCP-3001. Will probably make for a good reaction video.
hopefully the exploring series one if she reacts to the scp animated one i think i'm gonna lose it
To be honest for me this is probably the most scariest scp. Because there’s literally no cure for this thing. It can easily spread. And the infection process is both incredibly painful and disgusting.🤢
Damn she realy should have watched the exploring series one for this one its infinitely better than the volgens rendition
Can't wait for part 2.
Great choice on picking this content creator as your reaction. He’s one of the ogs When it comes to SCP’s.
This is sounding more like a variation of the Flood.
Well, we all know that alicia is great at destroying tumors, so I think she's safe from this one.
This SCP sounds so similar to the Cathedral Of Flesh from Vampire the Masquerade
The Sarkic SCP’s are my favorites. A lot of them remind me of the weird shit you see in Bloodborne.
Oh dear God the old blood comes from Yaldeboth....
Once again asking Alicia to do a video on SCP 1048 "Builder bear" or SCP 2295 "The bear with a heart of patchwork"
28:33, Constraint does breed creativity
If you like this then you might be interested in the WesHammer 40k video "The Last Ascension of Dominic Seroff is HORRIFYING" Trust me on this one, it takes these flesh monsters to another level.
theres a freaky scp that has a "Blossom" event and no its not plant based
19:00, guess Beta likes it when they get beat up
I think you'd like SCP-4999, its a really cool and wholesome one
Speaking of referring to a stage of infection as 'blossoming'
You should definitely check out a game made by Yames, Explore My Body
Once again recommending you to look into scp-1730; what happened to site 13. It's far more narrative driven than some of the ones you've watched videos on and a bunch of other scp's make a cameo, and I think it's pretty neat.
she should know the universe more i think that one hits better if so. I read it back in 2016 and it didn't hit as well as when i read it in 2020 having a greater knowledge of the site
She might get a kick out of 401 the Palm Tree
Ah they went with the William afton approach
The affect it has on locations is comparable to the "creep" of the Zerg from Star Craft.
A flesh cave is how my mother made me
Alicia: Friends don't let friends shit
12:10 I feel *called out*
"No no you don't get it, she's not cringe"
No no, you are, you're just my *kind* of cringe xD
Check out SCP Orientation. 009 Red Ice is amazing!
This SCP reminds me of the Necromorphs of Dead Space they have lots of similarities with SCP 610
8:45 god, your model is so expressive.
After seeing this, would love to see her reaction to SCP-217.
All I can think of when listening about the underground flesh tendrils is "Flesh of police coming straight from the underground".....is that bad? Am I a bad person now?
Dude fifthism is great, but she needs a vid that goes over what fifthism is rather than a specific SCP and I feel like she’s still in the single scp phase before she starts picking up on the connections (except for red guy and jelly boy). Like she’s at the treebranch part and hasn’t come across the spiderweb part yet. Like single connection vs highly interconnected is what I mean.
