I don't think this toon would be f2p friendly no unless you were just starting perhaps then he would be good. This toon requires a good deal of building to become a relevant rival at this point in the game. I think he will be great yeah but not until built fairly high.
I think any hybrid hunter is f2p friendly. Any hunter that fills 2 element lineups should be considered f2p friendly even if they are a support hunter. Swift Arsenal is the most important Hunter in the game for an f2p, and regardless of how strong the hunter is, they should be analyzed with that mentality in mind. I'm 95% sure that hybrids are made with PVE content in mind. Single Element limited hunters should be considered f2p friendly.
