Bo did a dash up the sidelines and it's the fastest I've ever seen a human run... He was already hauling ass, but when a defender got close Bo just shifted into overdrive and pulled away easily.
Palmer didn't save mountain biking, but he did impact it greatly! Absurdly talented, abrasive, & fast! Definitively his own dude. He was the Allen Iverson of extreme sports.
NORBA was wack, as a JR I smashed all ages of amateurs at a DS event and they disqualified me for cutting a gate because I didn't hit a berm that was abstractly there not actually cutting a gate; I never wasted my time and money supporting that community again.

I remember being at the Snow Summit national (late 90s?) Palmer won and walked to the podium in a gold suit. It was money.
