Welcome and/or welcome back to my channel! Today I am trying the Forest Fruit pod and it was okay however I was really looking forward to tasting the sweet pastry notes and unfortunately it just didn’t translate. I also saw that Jamaica Blue Mountain was released today from Nespresso so I am excited to try that pod, even though it is also 20.00. Let me know if you plan on picking it up and if you tried it last year. I hope everyone who celebrates had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

i am obsessed with this flavor! I love mine iced with milk. For syrups I really like white chocolate mocha or vanilla. It's amazing! This is a strange combo but it's also great with hazelnut and chocolate. Like chocolate raspberry vibes. I'm going to reorder like 8 more sleeves lol
All of those sounds delicious! I really enjoyed it with the white chocolate and I’m not gonna lie, the hazelnut and chocolate sounds really good too. I’m definitely trying that today. Idk about 8 more sleeves but if that chocolate and hazelnut tastes as good as it sounds I’ll be ordering at least one.☺️😂
I have an ol machine and I really liked that pod . It really reminds me of Christmas. I bought 3 more sleeves and it wasn't the same... 😒
That’s awful, I hate when that happens. The OL pod was better than the VL. I felt like it packed more flavor.
I also didn’t get the pastry notes in this pod! The only way I can get it to partially taste good is by adding either mocha syrup or vanilla.I was really disappointed by the whole Forest collection!I finally convinced my husband to me the essenza mini today and enough capsules to get the free Johanna Ortiz bag. Jamaica Blue was one of the capsules I requested him to get me! I’m so excited to try it and also the Hawaiian Kona! Thanks for another great and honest review!
Yay!! I am sooo excited for you, you will not be disappointed!! I tried the Hawaii Kona from the VL and it was delicious! Yeah the entire festival collection was very disappointing I much prefer the holiday pods they released last year. I am so excited to try the Jamaica blue Mountain pod, I didn’t try it last year but I hear great things about it and I think it will definitely be worth the $20. @@coffeeandkay5198 You know I will! I’m excited too because so many options that aren’t available in Vertuo are OL! Like watching you taste the OL forest fruit made me so curious about if my experience would have been diff with the OL capsule! Well we will know shortly but as for now I didn’t order any of the Forest collection for the OL!
@@stephaniesimmons0723 oh yeah! The OL versions of the VL pods are better 9 times out of 10. And they’re usually cheaper too☺️
I haven't tried this. I have Forrest Black and have enjoyed it. I'm liking the Gingerbread. It seems a little more spicy than sweet. Appreciate your reviews as always! I did just order JBM!

I liked this one! I bought one sleeve of each. Then reordered 7 or 8 sleeves of the VL. I use frothed whole milk and a little vanilla Syrup. It’s my favorite capsule from Nespresso I’ve tried so far. It reminds me of Bonne Maman Four Fruits preserves.
I have ordered one sleeve of gingerbread, supposed to be here at the end of the week. Kinda hope I don’t like it much. I try to keep around a dollar a capsule. Them asking 1.40 a shot. People pay it, I guess. I did, one sleeve. 😂
Oh wow, when you describe it like that it sounds divine. I love Bonne Maman fruit preserves. I’ll definitely try it that way and see how I like it. I am definitely on the fence about the gingerbread. Yes, the prices of these pods can get out if hand but that being said, I’m definitely trying the Jamaica Blue Mountain pod for 20.00🥴 I’ve heard such great things and if it’s as good as Puerto Rico and Galapagos it will be worth it.
I wasn't crazy about it either. I haven't tried the OL one yet. When all else fails salted caramel syrup fixes it every time. 😃
Yes! Salted Caramel and French Vanilla are definitively my go to’s. If they can’t fix it, nothing can.
@@coffeeandkay5198 I recently got french vanilla. I like that better than regular. Agree. I ordered 2 sleeves of blue mountain. Looking forward to trying that.years ago a coworker got a bag on a cruise she went on. Made some at work and it was like butter. Smooth!!

Didn’t like these nor the gingerbread. I don’t know if it’s just my palate but they all just tasted bitter nothing to rave about , especially, the gingerbread, didn’t taste like gingerbread at all. Truly disappointed in all of their holiday pods.
I don’t think it’s you Sylvia, that seems to be the general consensus. I heard okay things about gingerbread but that’s it. Nespresso definitely got it wrong this year.

I was afraid to try the forest fruit pods. I’m not a fan of fruity coffees. Good to know that the original line tasted better. I have tried the new Gingerbread vertuo pods. Not a fan of those pods. I might need to fix it with syrups, cit so far, a thumbs down on that pod.
Sounds like I was right to wait. I’m definitely purchasing the Jamaica Blue Mountain but I may skip the gingerbread unless my mom wants to try it.
