Nice Kyle. I sometimes forget about the importance of the explosion into a movement like this. Need to see if I have the necessary flexibility for looping the leg over ( another core movement I neglect at times ). That "knife hand" is a new one for me and I consider myself a collector of bottom side defense and escape options ( I tend to just let all but the better guys have side as a starting point ). Thanks for the details on the flash armbar. I don't catch that and I know I should so I will be looking out for it with the tip about trapping the palm.
The other armbar option is when they grab your shoulder right shoulder with their left arm ( when they have side control on your right side ) and leave the arm straight and option to a "cutting" or inverted armbar. That is one I do catch although it's a novice mistake to not see the danger.
This is one of the best instructionals. Thank you both.
