You should visit the oldest food street of Rawalpindi that is Kartarpura. You will find the best local food there. Try haleem, nihari, maghaz masala (brain curry), paya (beef/mutton feet), and beef seekh kabab karahi (BBQ beef kabab grilled then cooked in masala curry).

Those big trunks are not caskets. Muslims don't use caskets or coffins, they wrap the dead in a cloth and bury them as is. The bigger trunks are used for storage at homes, mostly to store heavier winter blankets or bigger things

9:00 Those are not caskets to bury the dead. They are like portable storage containers. They are usually used for storing blankets, quilts and all those things.

26:40 the masala on the fries is called ‘chat masala’. The word ‘chat’ roughly translates to ‘mix’, this masala also goes on samosa chat, fruit chat, channa (chickpea) chat and other street snacks in Pakistan

8:35 These are storage boxes, not the coffins. People use it to store seasonal items like quilts, blankets or some extra clothes.

Mehndi is a part of pre wedding celebrations when they apply henna to the bride, and they dance and celebrate. All those decorations are mainly for weddings and mehndi celebrations

27:00 The masala on the fries is called chaat masala. It's really common here. We put it on many things like fries, fruit chaat, dahi bhaley.

10:37 Thats Afghanistan's culture style kameez. And those trunks are not for funeral, its for people to store their winter blankets and other goods.

Also, the large round trunks/storage bins are like silos used to store grains and stuff in houses

Brent, for asking people's names you could also just say 'aap ka naam?" if you have an inflection at the end that should work too! Love that you are making such an effort. :) Another easy word you can use is 'kitna' which means how much?

The man was selling nimko(a salty crispy kinda noodles) a dry savoury item you can buy from Tehzeeb Bakers too.
Those were not coffins but trunk for storing blankets, clothes etc. They are useful as they can hold many items by taking less space.
Fries have usually "chaat masala" normally shaan, national sell it in all grocery stores.
Raja Bazar, those fancy signs were for food places, wish someone would have guided you, they have best dahe bally, golgappas in city.
Raja Bazar is crowdy as it supplies items/good usually in whole sale price in other cities too. It is old thats why roads are quite small.
