The Fact Book of Commercial Electric Kitchen Equipment, published in 1956, has a picture of the Aunt Jemima Pancake Machine No. PG706B. Batter ready for grill in five minutes. Two orders of pancakes every three minutes (eight minutes for pancakes?!). The machine cost $99.50 from Quaker Oats. It was also featured in the January 1955 issue (pg. 112) of Modern Packaging magazine and in the Feb. 7, 1955 edition (pg. 25) of the ever-popular Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration News.
The background music opening "Kansas" at 0:37 is Jack Shaindlin's "Getting Around" from the Langlois Filmusic library, while at 3:30 , the shot of Topeka is accompanied by Shaindlin's "Walking Briskly" (evidently a favourite cue at Industry on Parade).
