James Shepherd Versatile Brass plays "Kathleen Mavourneen"
Having been raised on the legends of James Shepherd Versatile Brass, I was honoured and delighted to be asked to provide a cornet solo for the final JSVB album 'Legacy'.
This solo for Bb Cornet, expertly performed by Rob Westacott, was originally written as a full band piece for Joanne Griffith and the Slaithwaite band. JSVB perform here from a ten-part reduction of the original.
