Flag raising ceremony at Ba Dinh Square is a national ceremony of Vietnam, the idea of ​​​​performing the ceremony on the square was proposed by the BTL protecting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and approved by the Government in 2001. on the occasion of the 111th birthday of Uncle Ho. The Flag Raising and Lowering Flag Ceremony is performed daily by the Honor Guard at Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. Accordingly, the officers and soldiers of the Honor Guard have a height of 1m7 or more, beautiful military uniforms and commanding movements. Standard team, focused practice. The group went around to the front to the music of the song "Step under the military flag" to reach the foot of the flagpole. The three soldiers of the red flag team went up to the flagpole to prepare for the flag raising ceremony, and that was when the door of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum began to open. After giving the signal, the flag was launched and flew up to the sound of the National Anthem. The national flag is raised on the top of the 29 meter high flagpole in front of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.
