i really like this show but i don't get why the second she ´glowed up´ she stopped wearing glasses, (and braces) its kind annoying cuz they always do that in shows
You’re absolutely right! I never thought about that. Because you can definitely be beautiful with glasses AND braces. Ima mention this when I record the third episode! Thanks for this!!
How I took it was that she personally felt I guess you could say prettier. Because at those ages you do change a lot, and it might seem like okay it's just glasses and braces, but at that age you just naturally feel more confident. I remember when I was 16 I got my braces off and I just felt better and older. Also I think too much, so I think even mentally and physically she changed. That was lot sorry, I hope you get what I am trying to say.
@@emmaschulz3799 , it definitely has to do with her maturing mentally(that's what i understood) but it said at the beginning that she did mature physically and i was just saying that that it was a bit annoying because they ALWAYS do that( take away glasses/braces) to make charcters prettier and i think its kinda overused
I totally get what you were saying in the beginning about the conversations between Laurel and the kids, but unfortunately this is based off of books and they only had 7 episodes , so they had to fit a lot in a short amount of time!

she probably grew out of braces and didn’t like glasses. plus how else would they show her aging and differentiate the time from past to present
