I'm crying as I watch this. As soon as I heard they were going to do this, I wanted to get tickets, but driving all the way from Michigan was impossible. I watched those tickets sell out and wasn't a bit surprised. ❤ This was so epic! Thank you so much for putting this documentary together. It was so great experiencing it again and hearing all the insights from the people involved. This Michigan grandma's heart bleeds red for Huskers Volleyball! ❤ 🏐
55-year-old man here, crying like a baby (Lexi R. asking Cook, "Are you soaking it all in, coach?" gets me every time!). Truly a magical night in every sense of the word. So glad my family and I got to be a part of it.
I watched all the way from Dubai! Congrats to the staff at Nebraska, all teams involved, and of course to the fans!! Nebraska makes me happy to be volleyball fan. God bless
Beyond the 92000 people there. I know many who would have loved to be there. This team is the pride of nebraska sports and we love all the husker athletes. I think they're gonna win the natty this yr. GBR!
I came to my first official game to Nebraska this year all the way from Germany. I have watched Nebraskas games for years and I had to be at a game now. This team has something special going on ❤ I really Hope they win it all
Talked to a Rancher and his wife in the Haymarket that lived near Scottsbluff. He asked if I knew where Scottsbluff was. I responded I did. He then asked me how far the stadium was. I enquired if he has been to a game. He replied his wife and him and never been to Lincoln. He said they love volleyball and watch it whenever possible. This was there chance to see a Match. It was a wonderful moment.
I attended Volleyball Day in Nebraska, watched all four teams play. It was the most amazing day I have ever had!!! I shared that day with my children and we all agree!! Everyone from 2 years to 82 had an amazing time, amazing energy!! Nowhere could this happen but Nebraska!!! GBR!!!
This was so emotional to watch (in a good way). Y'all have no idea how big of an impact this is, not only on volleyball, but women's sports WORLDWIDE. The bar is set high and Nebraska SHOWED UP. Give women a stadium and we'll fill it up!
I was telling a friend about nebraska volleyball . I sent this to her and watched it after I sent it to her. oh my gosh, the goosebumps I was getting and the emotions were incredible! I'm dam proud to be from nebraska!!!!
I live nowhere near Nebraska. But as a volleyball fanatic this is really cool to see happen. I announce middle & high school for the school I work for, and the attendance is dismal at best. This was so unifying and surprisingly emotional too.
That is awesome! This type of thing is what investors interested in women sports are looking at. Listen to the video, where the lady said the few fans were bringing their own chairs 30 years ago to support the team... They sure are not anymore... and for a volleyball game which is not a very popular sport! Yes, the sky is the limit! You go girls!
I know these lovely ladies were caught up in the moment but I wish they would've celebrated a bit more with the other team because this was for them, too. The moment was bigger than just the volleyball match.
Now we need something of this magnitude for Men's volleyball. As someone who is absolutely in love with Men's Volleyball, my dream is to make the sport a more mainstream attraction, so if something like this were to happen for men's volleyball, it would make my year.
You know what's precious about tall girls too? They don't even think of themselves as pretty, when in fact, they are actually beautiful. Dated two girls above 6' (I'm 5'11) and I've never met an arrogant one.
What a great event! In reflection, the only thing that would have topped this over, over, over the top would be presence of Paul Sunderland. Not that Emily Ehman did a bad job, Emily you did great, it would have been complementing the veteran and the upcoming superstar newcomer. Just my thoughts. It probably was some contractual/scheduling issues. But anytime I think of volleyball, it's the class, knowledge, being on the frontier of making volleyball what it is today, having that passion and being a GREAT announcer with super insights! Missed you! And a close second would be Karch Kiraly.
The fact that the best player on the court for the world record was Lexi Rodriguez couldn't be more perfect. This team is incredible but this is Lexi's team and she is worth believing in. So much magic happening for volleyball right now, it's like the one thing going right in America now a days.
Congrats, Lady Huskies, you did make the championship and that says volumes. There may be a reason for their loss not dealing with technicalities or stats, but that is something else. I hope they come back better next year. Congrats to Texas, without Maddie they would have never gotten this far. I hate that schools are allowed to trade and buy players, which is why Texas won also last year. Texas is looking for a name for its school sake, Nebraska and other schools are good due to actual coaching and players bonding. Any one know if they will do Volleyball Day every year? I am from Illinois and I love Big Ten and I want these ladies to do this every year.
Thank you, but it’s HuskERS, not HuskIES. Especially with Washington joining the conference this fall, you’ll want to know the difference. Of course, Wisconsin will need to enlarge Camp Randall if they want to break this record, it only holds around 80,000. Of the 3 Big 10 schools with football stadiums over 100,000 (Michigan, Ohio State, & Penn State), it's SO SAD that none of them even come close to selling out their regular facilities, ESPECIALLY considering how DOMINANT Penn State has been on the court.
And if someone manages to break the record, we'll expand the stadium and take it back. This thing sold out in less than 48 hours, we can double it if we have to.
How did they get the 92,000 record when the place only seats 86,000? Isn’t that a safety issue? And for a stage as grand and special like this they should have played a much better team instead of wasting it on a team that isn’t even ranked. Play Stanford, Texas, Wisconsin, etc, someone that’ll actually give the 92,000 in attendance their moneys worth. Or were they afraid of losing in their own special event so they held it against a weak team that they effortlessly smashed?
This was Volleyball day in Nebraska so they showcased Nebraska volleyball teams!! Two Division 2 Nebraska teams played the game prior. There was no fear of playing a ranked team, it was about celebrating Nebraska volleyball.
If only Travis Albert can give some of his pride and salary to hire a winning tradition coach with a more than 10 years winning record, Saban, Meyer, Harbargh, Lincoln Riley, with a good recruiting.
None of those guys were coming here. Saban's almost done, Meyer has baggage and it ain't Louis, Harbaugh is a Michigan alum who gets rumored for every NFL job every single year, no thank you, and of course Lincoln Riley has never actually won jack and has one of the worst defenses of any supposed top 10 team I think I've ever seen. Not sure if Rhule is the man yet or not, but he's at least building a solid defense with the chicken s*** Frost left over.
Proud to be a Nebraskan right now...
I'm crying as I watch this. As soon as I heard they were going to do this, I wanted to get tickets, but driving all the way from Michigan was impossible. I watched those tickets sell out and wasn't a bit surprised. ❤

This Michigan grandma's heart bleeds red for Huskers Volleyball! ❤ 🏐
This episode is going to go to another level. Hard not to 😭.
Simply put....there's no place like Nebraska.
You could have made that an hour long, there was SO much to tell. Imagine Kennedy reading the whole card Coach was unable to read.
Thats cruz You think like a filmaker and they dont, unffortunately for us
The production level of this is unreal. Very emotional and proud to be from the state of Nebraska

Great job, ladies of the University of Nebraska!!
We love you all

If you had DVD/Blu-ray of this event, I would buy it; what a great event! GBR
What an awesome vid. Great job to the Husker production team. It was definitely an emotional event, for all the right reasons. GBR
as a girl in collegent sports this meant everything to me. showing up matters. this is iconi and will forever make me cry
Full cry. Love being a Cornhusker!
Wonderful synopsis of a wonderous night. Great fans, great coach, and great players make for a night like no other!!
I live nowhere near Nebraska. But as a volleyball fanatic this is really cool to see happen. I announce middle & high school for the school I work for, and the attendance is dismal at best. This was so unifying and surprisingly emotional too.
This is really really cool and I was lucky to be there !
This is amazing!!! You need to watch it!!
Amazing, emotional, and powerful documentary!!! Must watch if you're sports fan.😊😊😊
No Place Like Nebraska! GBR!

Aww.. I love this video. I wanted to cry. Bekka is so inspiring and an amazing player. ❤😢
This documentary gives me goosebumps each time I watch it
Very emotional video. Its simply wonderful
No place like Nebraska ❤
Awesome documentary commemorating an incredible event! Wonderfully well-done and moving. Congrats to UNL Volleyball.
it was amazing I was crying
Congratulations Nebraska, some of the best people I have ever known are Nebraskan's

Such a great moment for these players that have worked so hard their whole lives
GBR!!!!!

I was at that game and we celebrated all the teams. This video however is about the University of Nebraska.

What a moment!!
9:55 i got emotional seeing the players get emotional. they are so precious
You know what's precious about tall girls too? They don't even think of themselves as pretty, when in fact, they are actually beautiful. Dated two girls above 6' (I'm 5'11) and I've never met an arrogant one.
Go Big Red!
They did that ❤
Good thing they beat the record before the stadium gets reduced to 75k seats
GBR!
Is that an FCA THE FOUR wrist band on middle blocker Bekka Allick, starting at 5:45? ☝
I really hope they all know how much they mean to Nebraska
just beautiful :)
Setting a new tradition (no pun intended). And the ladies are 21-0. Dominant!
Trev is the man....

I'm glad Paul Sunderland wasn't there, he is a horrible announcer. Have you ever watched him? Always biased against one team or the other
I love you Merritt 👋😘😘😘😘
So when is Nebraska Volleyball Day 2024?
Merritt cares so much about her team
Let's make it a yearly event!
The fact that the best player on the court for the world record was Lexi Rodriguez couldn't be more perfect. This team is incredible but this is Lexi's team and she is worth believing in. So much magic happening for volleyball right now, it's like the one thing going right in America now a days.

I can never shake the hand of my Husker idol, Brooke berringer, he died in a plane crash 😢
Bergi' teary eyed and 13:44, then Harper wipes her own eyes.
There is No place like Nebraska
I wish all of the girls on the team would have gotten to play.
I was there
04 Making History was shown twice. Oops :/
9:12 11:20 12:10
And if someone manages to break the record, we'll expand the stadium and take it back. This thing sold out in less than 48 hours, we can double it if we have to.
Go lady big red
That’s more fans then 75 of male college football fans btw
7:19 “If I don’t see someone who looks like me in my position.”
What? You mean a black person?
Spod jealous much
who knew that all it took to get people to watch female sports was their nudes to get leaked lol
That was Wisconsin NOT Nebraska
Of course it was gonna sellout, there’s nothing else to do in Nebraska 😂
How did they get the 92,000 record when the place only seats 86,000? Isn’t that a safety issue?

The volleyball court doesn't cover anywhere NEAR the entire football field, so there were LOTS of chairs occupying the remaining space.
This was Volleyball day in Nebraska so they showcased Nebraska volleyball teams!! Two Division 2 Nebraska teams played the game prior. There was no fear of playing a ranked team, it was about celebrating Nebraska volleyball.

love ur analysis@@andrewcramer9200
Wisconsin could brake 100k
Then do it. Oh that's right, they won't 🤣 so while we're just making shit up, Nebraska could "brake" 200k 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Camp Randall will need to be expanded, it only seats 80,000.
