1. Use airplane mode during faster charging.
2. Use airplane mode with Wifi to save charging at airport.
3. Charging overnight is ok.
4. Keep phone on room temperature.
5. Use slower chargers to keep the charge for a longer time.
6. Using wireless chargers won't ruin your battery.
7. Using phone while charging is ok.
8. Keeping batteries and power banks in a plane or hugh altitude can be risky.
9. Keeping a pillow or blanket on ur phone while charging slows the charge.
10. Don't keep your phone on anything that heats.
11. Remove your case while charging.
12. A 20k mAH can't charge a 5k mAH phone 4 times but 3 times.
13. Most battery savers are trash. Use your own phone's battery saver mode.

2:40 i belive that as the battery gets charged the potential difference decreses, only the potential difference remains in the wire due to internal resistance, so technically nothing happens if you keep charging it, as the phone won't be accepting any power itself
Phone won't accept charge when it's at 100%,but when charging is stopped automatically because the phone charged to 100%, after some time it will come to 99%,98%,97%...then charging will start again(same process repeats until phone is disconnected from cable), which may affect the battery health.
phone will still charge after 100% but at very low current which is almost negligible because when unplugging the charger there would be no power for some miliseconds before the device switches to battery and that can shut down the system so there is always charging and current going on to avoid this

8:32 The amount of charging or discharging actually matters when it comes to battery life. You can charge Li-ion/Li-polymer batteries as many times as you want. No problem. But if you discharge until 0% and charge until 100% frequently, the life time of battery reduces, because they are not designed to charge-discharge completely.
60-50 would be ideal, but not feasible. 80-20 is the best practical choice.
Is partial charging bad or it doesn't impact battery life??

Optimum power consumption se kam consume hota hai off hote time. Optimum consumption is still some consumption. Off hote time toh practically consume hi nahi hota.

Bro, I have a Problem/Query.
I have two chargers (bricks). Both have rating of 10W (5V-2A). One is an old one from Samsung & another is an unused one from Asus Max Pro M1. But while charging my phone, Sam is like 30-40% faster than Asus - Using same cable & on the same phone (Asus) - Checked with *Ampere* app. Plus, last year my phone's battery got swollen, probably because of aging.. But I'm in doubt because I was using Sam's faster charger.
So can you please tell me if the power bricks have same rating, is it okay to use a faster charger than the one given by the company ? 😅

Fast charging is an optional feature, you can always use a low watt charger and do overnight charging to preserve battery health....
at the same time, once in a while we may need some quick juice and slow charging is gonna be frustrating on iphones
NP my iPhone 13 pro max has a 2 day battery life which will not degrade on time cuz we have slow charging...
Bro I'm using OnePlus 9r... I got 14 hours of Sot on day3 but after that battery degraded even tho i factory reset my phone two times and now I'm getting around 6-7 hours of Sot however i recently charged my phone with Ipad's 18w charger and my battery improved drastically.. i got almost 2x battery life even tho my phone has already 50%+ battery when i plugged in charger... I don't know whether it is because of Apple's high quality charger or lower watt... I'll try to use some other brand's 18w charger maybe 20w OnePlus charger btw do you know whether it is good to use other brands charger?

Charging to 100% or discharging to 0% will decrease the lifetime of the battery. It won't stop working, obviously, but it will loose its capacity. There's something called 'cycle count' of every li-ion battery which is basically after how many cycles will your battery start loosing its capacity. The best practice is to keep your phone between 40%-80%. However we can stretch it to 20%-80%.

Cycle count is like that...If you change your phone to 100% and than drop it to 0% thats means 1 circle is completed...also it you charge it to 100% and than drop it to 50% and than also change it to 100% and drop it in 50% than its also complete a 1 circle.....so basically the system is same..so if you repeatedly change your phone or drain your phone to 0% and than charge both are same things...and battery life spam is equal.
@@tusharchakraborty1830 yeah, that's what cycle count is. However, it is affected by a lot more factors such as temperature and humidity. If you regularly discharge your battery below 20% or charge it above 80%, cycle wear is high due to temperature rise and other factors. At the end of the day its a tradeoff between more usage time or a longer battery life
