Very nice video and enjoyable. I gave it a thumbs up, and would have given it two thumbs up if that was possible. I am your fourth subscriber. Your camera and sound seems fine to me just as they are. Looking forward to your next video. I hope I don't have to wait until Spring!

@Vintage_Garage Thank you very much! I have a chest mount which in my opinion gives a much better view than a helmet. I'm not much of a talker on camera, so I will hold off on that. I want to upgrade the camera so it's clearer and possibly attach a microphone to dampen out the wind noise. I want to hear the nice deep tones of the exhaust through a decent microphone . Ahhh I will definitely be out riding in the coming week. I will be following your channel with interest... I'm hoping to add some accessories to my bike 👍🏼

@@MrMonkey125cc I use a chest mount in all of my videos, so agree completely with your plans. I made my earliest videos using Git2 cameras with a remote microphone and I struggled with getting the placement of the remote mike. Now I use a GoPro Hero 10, with the media mod accessory, with sound coming from the rear microphone in the media mod, and call that good enough. The media mod accessory doesn't completely block out wind noise, but you can hear true shifting and exhaust sound without a lot of editing work.

@Vintage_Garage I plan to continue with the chest mount for the gopro. Unfortunately, I have an older gopro hero 5. The quality of filming and audio is now out of date in 2024. Not complaining as it was a gift from family a good few years back. I will however upgrade this before the year ends. I am hoping I can pair a simple microphone to a newer model gopro and be done with it. Minimal editing would be a win for me! I may do some videos on accessories for the bike and some clothing/gear and talk about my experience BUT for now I wana focus on the riding and my surroundings 👌🏻 At this time I just want the videos to me enjoyable for others but mostly useful for my learning. Finding it helpful to watch them and learn from mistakes 🏍
Any recommendations for modifications would be appreciated! I was thinking about heated grips and maybe a windshield. I've heard the windshield adds slightly more stability.

@@MrMonkey125cc I fitted Derazer headlight covers on both of my Monkeys. I do not know if they have any effect on stability or not, but I think they look nice. The only downside is that fitting them sort of precludes using a front rack or a headlight guard, and perhaps even a windshield. I don't know. I live in Florida and it is a rare day when I need heated grips though.. LOL. For me on any small motorcycle, the most important accessory is a MOLLE bag on the handlebars to hold cheeseburgers and minor items.

I may be contacting you when it comes to installing some modifications... i haven't tinkered with any kind of bike/car before.
I must admit, a bag or some sort of storage is appealing to me.. something small to hold a few smallish items. A cheeseburger holder wouldn't be so bad 🤣
