i have the JH-XX myself in and i currently using it on type 004, the fighter it self is pretty deadly cuz the weapons can reload very quick
and can do its full damage when flying out of AA fire. the MIG 31 i had it to but i had to sell, its a good strike fighter too but the weapons kinda get flared to much .

I don't play the game much, but I must admit, I think the JH-XX would be at a slight disadvantage without a cannon, which the MiG-31 has.

mig 31 has laser guided missle so it can't be passive countered, mig 31 also faster so quicker reload speed when aircraft is emptied

Guns are useless, it feels like a Backup Weapon. But Railguns are fine because of distance and ammo shortages at maximum damages. So i choose JH-XX instead

Nah, not really the thing is that with the new strike fighter you dont need to get close to the enemyand they have more hp while with the foxhound you need to hit and run but in the process you will loose a strike fighter or 2
