Sweet build and edit. You need to add a parts list in the description for all of us looking for "ideas". Looking forward to more vids. Keep it up man! I have a 67 that I've had for the last 20yrs. Trying to figure out what to do with it. I'm done with the stock bug scene.
@@michaeljeffers9635 thank you I pinned the comment with a parts list. Only thing missing was the quarter turn fasteners for the hood that I got from kartek
You sure made that look EZ did you bend up the cage or buy it ? Great video and would like to know some more about the parts list . If you have more video it would be great to see some more of the details it would definitely not be boring to me your results are kick ass!
@@Bajahaha70 thank you! Cut out a lot so the video wouldn’t be 10 hours long lol I bought a class 11 cage as a starting point but modified a lot as well as bent the rest of the tubing. I have everything save to a file on my computer! I will post all the parts soon on here! Going to try and post more on here
Love the whip!! Great editing, add more clips of your project so we can get some ideas man. I’m trying to build a bug as well but I have no knowledge of the structure of the frame-built roll cage and so on. I know how to work with sheet metal and welding as well. Any tips?
I’ll try to post more! I also have a lot of post on my IG for my build. Pretty much just looked at lots of off road builds but and non bugs to get design ideas
Jake nice ride im working on a baja build as well pretty much the same as your car i have same front suspension rear im going with 3x5 motor same honda j35 with build 6rib transmission. Question have you start a stand alone harness?and if so who did you use? Thanks in advance.
Nice build! I have almost the same car. Only recommendation I can give is at some point have your exhaust go from dual to an x pipe. Sounds way better , more responsive, and you’ll gain some low end torque back
Hopefully it will get more views as people keep liking it. This is about a year and half of weekends. Of course there was a lot I cut out so it wouldn’t get boring
