Very nice work. Recently I bought a pair of "Nick's Moc-Toe Pro (EH) rated boots". One toe box fell during stitching creating a tight fit. They paid for shipping both ways and replaced the boots. Nick's explained: "Our boots are hand made (crafted) and not made by machines. There will be some inconsistencies in the build process, but somehow your boots got by our quality control". Again, they stepped up and built me a replacement pair of boots and paid shipping both ways. My point: Nick's boots are hand made and is why you see some variations in the pair of boots in this video. Final thought: My Nick's Moc-Toe Pro boots are the finest, most heavy duty and comfortable pair of work boots I have ever owned. Second to Nick's is a pair of Red Wing Irish Setter Hunting boots I used for work in the 1980's. The "Red Wing Irish Setter" is now made in China and is nowhere near the "HIGH QUAILITY" of Nick's!!! (In the fall of 2023, I paid $500. Today, the price for the Moc-Toe Pro is $619) TH-cam MocToe Pro construction video: "The World's Most DURABLE & COMFORTABLE Boot! Nicks MocToePro"
Great job! Gotta wonder, were the boots a pair of “seconds” from Nicks? The double row of stitching on the left boot was really crooked. Your work is amazing!
I was wondering if you could do a combination sole like the ones on my Nick's Tacticals. Don't know if you can do a polyurethane and rubber but that boot sure looks great!
I did this with some leather bottom/ leather sole Gorgia slip on cowboy looking boots with a heel.. the shaft leather is really thick.. So I just removed the heel and then glued on a vibramChristy. They are one of my favorite pairs of boots now. I like having that dual sole. I got the boots used for $10.. in great shape. lol.. It's hard to beat the usedMark3t
Aaron what's the name of that Tool you use to trim the welt edges? and where can I buy one? That little fine detail really makes a difference. Great Job 👍🏽 ...
Hola bien asi me gusta las botas ...pronto viajare a los EEUU de vacaciones ybte llevare unas botas para arreglos ..saludos desde España y execelente trabajo ...
I have a pair of black work leather nicks traveler with the cristy sole want to do something something similar when the time comes any suggestions? Don't know how the black or honey Sierra would look on white cristy. Thanks. Probably misspelled cristy idk
Nick's boots have been having issues with their quality control. They hired too many new people who don't know what time it is, so they can try and keep up with the orders coming in from the office workers.
*It's called a stitchdown construction. The upper leather flares out to the welt area, with that leather flap edge you see stitched. So there isn't a separate welt. The welt area is a part of the uppers. There's only so many resoles stitchdown constructed boots can have, due to the nature of the boots being stitchdown constructed. Although I've seen some cobblers on TH-cam convert stitchdown boots to goodyear welted boots though. In that way, you can get more resoles out of your boots!*
I have 3 pair of Nick's boots. I stopped ordering from them. They have a 50% failure rate based on my experience. You wait 3-4 months for your order to hit production then they contact you because they do not have the leather in stock and ask you if you want to SUB another leather or wait longer. After seeing this pattern I canceled 3 additional orders I had in the cue. They have to work on production planing as it relates to supply planning. Such a great pair of boots with such POOR service due to not filling commitments.

Fantastic job. Love the contrast of the different colors of the soles.
Thank you Aaron for the fastest resole ever! Love the boots! Thank you very much! Happy Holidays!
🙏🙏👋👊
Much better! Congratulations on your very good work! 👍👍
Great looking boots after adding the second soles!
Gran trabajo, Tommy Shelby.
Las has dejado guapísimas.
Un fuerte abrazo.
💯🐐👏🏻👏🏻🍾🥂💪🏻
Freaking awesome. Badass work, Aaron!
Hey Aaron, Great Work. I never knew that you can sand and Glue rubber to rubber. That's Amazing.

I'd certainly hope so, considering their price point.
@@cjanquartI second that!
When I first saw initial video post, I thought nice!!!! You got yourself a Blake stitch machine….great upgrade on boots
😅 not yet
I’m not looking for one at the moment
Thanks!
wonderful work...congratulations.
Those are awesome!
Great outcome as always!

Pues se ven de poca madre ,carnal y se ven caras ta😅, saludos desde mexicalpan de las tunas 😅😅😅
Your vision is always better than the original. I can't stand those Christie style soles. The Sierra in that color was a perfect fit!
That’s very nice Aaron. Great idea for me. Can we do that on my IR 8111? Size 12!?
Great work Aaron
Very nice.
They look 😍 beautiful
Amazing! How were you able to sand down the soles to same thickness? Did you measure them and sand to a mark, or did you simply "eyeball" them? Cheers
Just eyeball them that’s all you need.
Cheers!

It’s called edge beveler you can find it online.
Looks great!!
The guy will be looking down at everyone when he wears these.
Great job as usual 👌
What's the solution that you used before applying the glue on the soles?
Hola bien asi me gusta las botas ...pronto viajare a los EEUU de vacaciones ybte llevare unas botas para arreglos ..saludos desde España y execelente trabajo ...
How much did this cost? I have a pair of Red Wing 1907's and thinking about this as a solution to add traction and increase longevity of the sole.

They make the Sierra outsoles in coyote tan, olive, and green, too. One of those would look great!
Thanks
Ha ha solo un Mexicano makes that kind of magic.
Ya casi te Mando to resole couple of boots muy pronto
Whats the name/model of the new sole?
Bravo

Bro 2 pares de suelas Vibram 132 talla 10 cuánto pueden pesar ? Más de un kilo ?
❤❤😂😂😂😂
Your not changing the welt??? THATS INSANE!🤣
It’s stitch down. There isn’t a welt.
