You should take the Dimash journey and listen to all his singer performances in order and then follow his development over the years. He has taken perfection to even greater and greater levels you wouldn’t think possible. He sings from bass to whistle note and everything in between but sings then all with the same level of power and perfection. He sings every genre pop rock rap jazz vocalise classical crossover full on opera sometimes all in one song and makes it sound awesome instead of weird. He puts his heart and soul into his music so it doesn’t matter if you don’t know the language. Best of all, he is the most beautiful genuine humble person. If you watch “Opera 2” (second performance on the chines “I am a Singer” show) which he has “fun” with, make sure to watch the long version “not knowing his father is in the audience” and watch until the end as it shows an awesome side of his character. Yes, it was the first song of the night on the opening night of the 2017 "I Am Singer" competition. The coldest of cold opens, except that the show's management asked the audience to give him a warm welcome. This was a pro-only competition. But the perks were fantastic. One song a week per contestant (for 13 weeks), a full live orchestra plus ethnic instrumentalists, translators and other help. Heavily publicized with hundreds of millions of viewers. This song is a French cover from 1978 from Daniel Balavoine,a very famous singer in our country who died in 1986 in an helicopter accident. Dimash makes a beautiful hommage to him. He was helped by Lara Fabian, a great singer and also a coach, they even sang together and they're friends. He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English). Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. He talks 2 languages fluently (Kazakh and Russian)and is currently learning Mandarin and to improve his English. The girl that won was the girl that clapped and said "wow" at the end. It is said that the only reason was because they wanted a Chinese person to win but he was very much respected. You have seen N O T H I N G yet. He has tremendous control over his voice. He is, without a doubt, THE greatest singer in the world. He raps, he dances, he does rock, he does EVERYTHING. He's the most humble person ever, he's a huge humanitarian, has a great soul, and loves his family, his country, his religion and his Dears. He's always very respectful to his band members. He also has a masters in music theory and is currently completing his doctorate. He’s only “officially”performed complete songs in 13 languages, but there was the time he sang in Spanish when he met Bochelli and there was one other. I’ll have to look for the list that was provided to me last year. I used to say 13 until that Dear who provided the list corrected me.

It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him.
Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English).
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD.
He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500.
Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside).
They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to.

The best moment in this show was just after Dimash started thanking everyone and saw his father there. He didn’t know he was there. Just after they got out of that room Dimash turns to his father and asks if he did good! When Dimash was gonna go in to the other contestants he again turned to his father and asked him if he done good! That’s the kind of man he is humble, loving and respectful.

Gloria Wu's channel has the back-story about the song that is so sad and from a life story about a boy losing his parents in an awful way. Also you get to hear how Dimash sounds like then loosing his voice the day of the show!!! When he went on he didn’t know if he could sing. Looking close at the other contestants they where so worried about him. He lost his voice again after. Li Jian another contestant bought him a very very expensive Chinese medication for him so he could get better soon!

Episode 10 : 'Unforgettable Day' In Kazakh and I think some translation in Chinese to. If I remember correct he wrote the music to this one when he was 19 years old and lyrics by Oral-kosai Baisengir, who was a poet/lyricist father of a friend of Dimash. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Terry was known as an alien before Dimash and they have similar vocals to.

He didn’t win the competion they say its because he wasn’t Chinese. But I don’t know if that’s right or not! They change the rules next year. But he got the most out of it and was most known after this. Got lots of awards and other things to. So he won the audience and the Chinese people.

Él quedó segundo por décimas ante una cantante consagrada en China y fue precisamente por eso por lo que no ganó.
Un kazajo que era el primer artista extranjero en ese programa no podía ganar ante artistas de gran nivel chinos.
Dimash es único, así de simple con toda su complejidad.

Hay un grupo mucho más que excepcional coreano, se llama FORESTELLA, al que le ocurre mucho eso, los identifican con Kpop y nada que ver, al igual que Dimash son muy versátiles y fusionan estilos clásicos con pop, rock y músicas tradicionales con una maestría impresionante.

He was up against a child in the final so he decided that it was unfair to compete with a child and so he stepped back and handed the win to the child. He is a very kind young man.
That was Dimash's introduction to China. And from one day to the next he became an international superstar. The next day he couldn't walk the streets in China without security! Dimash was only 22 years old when he opened and won the very first episode of The Singer Chinese show in 2017 with this performance of SOS - a showcase competition for well known, professional Chinese singers, with a voting audience of 500 people from the music industry. His voice is the most beautiful sound on earth, regardless of the genre he might pick. He can sing ANYTHING. Rock, pop, opera, musical, folk of whatever kind (most preferably Kazakh), even rap!!!!! And best of all: he mixes genres, dimshifies them, so creating his own, the genre Dimash. His live concert was absolutely stunning, extraordinary, off all charts. No one compares to him. Dimash has extra-ordinary talent, but without putting in a lot of hard work, he would never have been able to develop his voice to what it is now. He talks 2 languages fluently (Kazakh and Russian)and is currently learning Mandarin and to improve his English. The girl that won was the girl that clapped and said "wow" at the end. It is said that the only reason was because they wanted a Chinese person to win but he was very much respected. You have seen N O T H I N G yet. He has tremendous control over his voice. He is, without a doubt, THE greatest singer in the world. He raps, he dances, he does rock, he does EVERYTHING. He's the most humble person ever, he's a huge humanitarian, has a great soul, and loves his family, his country, his religion and his Dears. He's always very respectful to his band members. He also has a masters in music theory and is currently completing his doctorate. He is so good, that the world renowned Igor Krutoy, a Russian pianist and composer, was in retirement and saw him and came out of retirement just to write for him. He sings at the very low of the piano ( down to the false chords!) to OFF the highest end of the piano. Jesus...what to recommend next? It's so hard because he brings something new to EVERY one of his videos, but I would say, stay in The Singer for a little while so then you can see how much he has actually progressed from that perfection to God Mode.
