    I will agree that the older ones seemed to be a bit more problematic, but as long as you got the temp sensor to conect to them first, and then let it find WWV overnight, it would peform failry well. I also switched to disposable lithium batteries, as an older wall unit I have has battery compartment damage from the usual alkaline leakage.

    The Sensor it is referring to in the back of the clock is the temperature sensor. If you hold the (-) for three seconds it will look for and connect to the outdoor sensor.

    Works well if you get a sensor cover for it and put it on the North wall.

    Have you thought about using Lacrosse Technology 925-1418 Sensor Weather Shield
    The Sensor Weather Shield is designed to protect your outdoor sensors from rain and snow. This shield will offer limited protection from the sun's heat.

    I have a different model and it does not have the buttons on top of the clock. 4 buttons on back are set, +, ALM and SNZ. I am trying to change the time zone from eastern to pacific time. When we changed the batteries it no longer came up with the correct time zone. Thank you

    I bought this older one (you showed it) over 3 years ago for dad. Dad's gone (passed away) and I've been using it. Just changed batteries and can't figure out how I set it before. Any help?

      So sorry for your loss, I should have a set button on the back, hold it down and then the digits should flash, use the other buttons to set it, make sure to get the time zone right,

    In the instructions, the outdoor sensor has a small TX button, what does it do?????

    • @JustADad
      @JustADad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you clock is not seeing the outdoor temp and the outdoor temp sensor is not connected to the clock you can press this and it should connect to the clock. Not exactly sure how it does it but it has something to do with that.

    I bought mine and I was really happy with it until bedtime then realize that you can't see the clock in the dark it has no lighting which is ridiculous it has an alarm in it so of course if you're going to use an alarm clock you're going to have it in your dark bedroom common sense feel like I want half of my money back because I can only use it half of the day rip off wouldn't buy another one for sure
