LOL cracked me up when Scar responded "what did you say" to you not hating it😂. Awesome review Kenneth I get all your points and glad you found enjoyment in this remake. To me this is the most unoriginal and pointless movie ever made and my least favourite movie of all time because of how I think it disrespects the original and only exists for money. Plus Simba's hair travelling in a ball of giraffe dung made me MAD and the lions not emoting is the least of this remakes problems. Jon Favreau said it won't be a shot for shot remake he clearly lied and Disney payed him to make that statement. As photo real as the CGI can look here it's no Avatar and doesn't hold a candle to the magnificent hand drawn animation of the original. Also making it 30 minutes longer than the original made the middle act drag like hell. Mufasa The Lion King should have been hand drawn animated and should not have tied into the remake then I'd be hyped for it!
As someone who is not big fan of Lion King so this movie was not big slap in the face and it did not look that bad in my opinon, but yeah this movie was not that good and oh boy it was so god damn boring 🥱. Original Lion King is way better than this snoozefest. Im more looking for Sonic 3 than Mufasa prequel. Great review Kenneth and take care and stay safe 👍.
