@@iansjogssA problem that was in upd 0 and still is in game for every update since is the lack of cool stuff in between quests, Arguably arcane odyssey does exploration better than 90% of op games, even though they're really small details having random shipwrecks, giant whales and sea monsters traveling around makes the game feel so much more alive than traversing 5 million studs of empty water (and yeah I know that the smaller map size helps tenfold but not everything needs to be accurate to the source material)

My experience with gpo: I have started playing 3 days after launch once i had enough robux to afford the game, the game was very fun i met many players and grinded a long time hopping to get a leg fruit, updates weren't to far apart so i joined back from time to time until update 5 where fruits where way to easy to get, but i gave myself a new challenge and that was to get marine cap, I knew it would be hard but i was motivated enough to grind like hell, back to this day i only play when a new update releases i have helped over 20+ players grind to level max over the years to pass time and I have every item in game apart marine cap cause nobody wants all items + 6 pcc. looking back I have probably spent more time on gpo than the actual owner of the game..
Enjoyed the video, IMO the reson the game is so awful these days is not the update frequency or update size or balancing, it's just the updates make me feel nothing at all. All the grinding we have to do for new weapons, fruits and fighting styles is super dry, and we spend 90% of our time on the game grinding for a new sword or something that we use for 2 arena matches then never again. Old fruits and swords are being power cliffed, sometimes they stay bad and sometimes they get a daze mechanic added making them pretty much identical to all the new content, either way they become unusably boring. All the new content isn't fun to play with. Gold and smoke are well-balanced but just boring. In fact, everything is boring. You can only use 60% of the swords in the game cuz of the m1 changes, which were just an awful awful idea. But the largest problem? PVP. PVP is unplayably awful, you either play against a bum using an unlimited health tori build or a nerd who clowns you for spamming and playing weird while they throw out daze moves to start all the combos. As soon as one m1 lands, they just evasive. I hate evasives too. Pho added thousands and thousands of daze moves to the game, which obviously created a ginormus problem because you came across infinite combos more than white girls at a Starbucks. So Pho adds evasives. These solve the inf combo problem, but very poorly because now we can't land one m1 without having some nerd hit control faster than white girls to a starbucks when pumpkin spice drinks appear on the menu. Basically, instead of balancing his game and removing all the daze moves and combo extenders, Pho took the cheap way out, effectively ruining PVP, therefore my (and many others) will to play the game. I could rant and rant about how dry and boring new fruits and updates are, and how hard they are to get, and how boring events are these days, and how awful the balancing is, and how I got more joy out of seing the pika v2 and iron fist sneaks then using them in game, but aint no one reading this long ah essay as it is, so I'l end it with this. Evasives suck, the m1 change sucks, updates take too long and bring too rare items and too unbalanced fruits and crappy events to the table, the game can get 100 new fruits and 200 new swords and 300 new bosses, but it will never ever be the same, maybe due to evasives but probably because we grew up and Pho didn't. GPO sucks, I quit, and no one gets my Kikoku.
Yea I see your point, and I honestly agree with it. I only really hop on GPO to grind new updates every so often, or its because I am going to make a video, but even when I do play it's only fun for the first 20 minutes, then I realize how boring GPO is.

I’ve always thought all they have to do is a haki rework to make haki progression actually apart of the game. I mean it’s a one piece game with no real haki progression I can’t even remember the last time I even turned on observation haki.
So many one piece games don’t utilize haki enough, it sucks because it could be such a cooler mechanic, but it’s stuck as percentage based buffs or auto dodges
the crazy thing is deepwoken's dev team is about 5 people + naktigonis who makes some banger music but they take longer to update (Last major update was verse 1 around 3 years ago which rewrote the entire game)

I'm mostly a PVE guy and the PVE in GPO simply sucks. Soloing a boss takes either a full squad spamming the same ability towards the pretty much same tank (because it has like 50 times your hp and 5 times your damage) or it takes half an hour to chip away it's hp between death and death with same bosses also having a spawn time, good luck waiting. And that's honestly, not fun at all. There's no point in doing quests once you are max lvl, and sea events also having an RNG spawn makes the game a waiting simulator. That's just not enjoyable at all. The other option is Impel Down which in solo feels like being in a torture chamber that, in reality, is no different than killing normal npcs or normal bosses. However, I finally found peace in another rpg that's not from Roblox so I, at least, get something positive ftom GPO and other roblox games going down.

Why don't i just make a build? That's the thing, you can't make a build with such very lowed stats points gains. Especially how much stats you gotta put in order to even make a dent in low-level npcs.
Balance Tweaks in GPO every week would be amazing, add rewards to arena mode like peroxide did, and get rid of transformations in arena like Full Form Tori and Full Form Venom, skeletons and observation v2, cuz let's be honest, we all lose the will to live when you fight against a Tori (Spam Healing with Full Form), Dullian (Spawning Skeletons and Raw R) tops off the cake with more toxicity by activating Observation v2.. Then eventually you.. A. You run out of Patience and quit, B. pull off 6 combo extenders then STILL lose, or C. Somehow win, but still left with regret queuing in that match in the first place.

I've been roblox free for the past 3 months, it's insane how much time i wasted playing gpo and roblox all together, i remember grinding 3 accounts to get them to second sea just for more legendary chests (when they were worth anything) Last time i played was the megalodon update, got the armor and just... logged off.

I use Wondershare filmora, but honestly just buy a adobe Premier Pro License. Adobe's software is better I am only using wondershare because I paid for it a while ago and now I'm stuck with it till I make my money back
Deepwoken and GPO are severely more different than you think, GPO has the best graphics on roblox and its undisputed as they have the best developers. The issue is is that Phoeyu doesn't trust his developers, so development is overall slow. GPO strives for quality over quantity and that's why the updates take so damn long, alongside the fact that phoeyu doesn't trust anyone with full access to the game so they don't have that much influence to the game if you wanted it to improve (everything goes through pho and he barely plays his game)

I just stopped playing when all the fruits lost theyr value, kk stack fixed, tons of unnecessary nerfs and buffs ( talkin about TORI ) and etc. The best thing i did was sell all my stuff on blackmarket back in 2k22 and i still got a really good profit ( arund 400 bucks )
Instead of adding something repetetive they just add a single time quest or event, in my opinion thats why it has low players, they should act like Kings legacy or Blox fruits, even if its bad it brings some people in.
Gpo isn't getting many players because of a few very problematic reasons: - No consistent update schedule. - Not enough content for the time between updates. - Most in not all the content since update 5-6 is locked behind absurd rng (now more than 80% of the game's drops are at 1% chance or lower, with bosses that are difficult to do alone, and risky to do in public). - Steady decline of quality of the update, the drop becoming more significant after the BR update, although there were still a few of good updates since. - Bad reputation with pho's greediness and questionable pricing. - Balances focusing strictly on PVP while the core of the game being purely PVE (although that's mostly my opinion, I might be mistaken on whether the game was meant to focus more PVE or PVP) and those are only issues I can recall on the top of my head

I've been roblox free for the past 3 months, it's insane how much time i wasted playing gpo and roblox all together, i remember grinding 3 accounts to get them to second sea just for more legendary chests (when they were worth anything)
Last time i played was the megalodon update, got the armor and just... logged off.

I use Wondershare filmora, but honestly just buy a adobe Premier Pro License. Adobe's software is better
I am only using wondershare because I paid for it a while ago and now I'm stuck with it till I make my money back
gpo deserves 100k, phoeyu deserves 0, its the ad truth, phoeyu ruined the game
Deepwoken and GPO are severely more different than you think, GPO has the best graphics on roblox and its undisputed as they have the best developers. The issue is is that Phoeyu doesn't trust his developers, so development is overall slow. GPO strives for quality over quantity and that's why the updates take so damn long, alongside the fact that phoeyu doesn't trust anyone with full access to the game so they don't have that much influence to the game if you wanted it to improve (everything goes through pho and he barely plays his game)

I just stopped playing when all the fruits lost theyr value, kk stack fixed, tons of unnecessary nerfs and buffs ( talkin about TORI ) and etc. The best thing i did was sell all my stuff on blackmarket back in 2k22 and i still got a really good profit ( arund 400 bucks )

Instead of adding something repetetive they just add a single time quest or event, in my opinion thats why it has low players, they should act like Kings legacy or Blox fruits, even if its bad it brings some people in.
Gpo isn't getting many players because of a few very problematic reasons:
- No consistent update schedule.
- Not enough content for the time between updates.
- Most in not all the content since update 5-6 is locked behind absurd rng (now more than 80% of the game's drops are at 1% chance or lower, with bosses that are difficult to do alone, and risky to do in public).
- Steady decline of quality of the update, the drop becoming more significant after the BR update, although there were still a few of good updates since.
- Bad reputation with pho's greediness and questionable pricing.
- Balances focusing strictly on PVP while the core of the game being purely PVE (although that's mostly my opinion, I might be mistaken on whether the game was meant to focus more PVE or PVP)
and those are only issues I can recall on the top of my head
