I wish Australia backed the products and information as systematically as you guys have here, I can see excellent uses for the tools you have demonstrated and although I am currently operating bigger class machines our Company is buying more mid and mini machines so I can see real advantages in asking the boss for more integrated tool packages for much higher efficiency and safety. I really like Cat products support and if I had to offer a serious suggestion for large improvement it would be that Cat needs to put together longer videos on Computer operation from the F series through into the Nex Gen series so that for Professional Operators like myself you can search tutorials on using these individual screens, Because I have gone from Cat Next Gen into M318F and you're trying to learn all the functions and functionality of systems that online information does not support yet the package is a potent machine. Again Love the Video and the awesome quality of the Equipment, Delivery of current information. Just so many low-hour machines lack information access. Look forward to getting some seat time in this class of machine you have demonstrated here soon. Cheers From Garry in Australia and look forward to many more videos from you guys loved it.😀😀😀😀
Is there a laser catcher sensor for the stick? When digging footings I would much rather be about to bench from a laser each time after moving a machine vs reaching back to touch grade with a bucket tooth. Example, if when you reach back out to rebench after moving and possibly being off ½inch each time after moving 10-12 on a ditch line. You could be possibly 5-6 inches off grade from where you start a trench to the other end.
Hi Brad! Great question - no, there is not currently a laser catcher. We built this system to be entry level with entry level pricing to allow customers to get into Grade Control in a simple and affordable way. The Ease of Use Indicate system is self-contained and provides customer acceptable accuracy over distance at a very affordable price, especially over other laser, GPS, and auto systems. And we're always taking customer feedback on how to improve our products and technology, so look for next level options in future phases of the Ease of Use system. - Yasmin
Very good question, Lars! Ease of Use Indicate and E-Fence can be ordered bundled together or as separate feature packages, installed at the factory or through Cat dealers as an upgrade kit for Cat 306 CR, 308 CR and 309 CR models. These technologies are not currently available for Cat 308 CR Variable Angle Boom, 309 CR Variable Angle Boom, 308 CR Fixed Boom, or canopy models like the 302.7. - Eli
