Hey! I've liked this format, especially because I'm reading Bubbles on my own and it works as a kind of revision of what I've read. My impressions so far have been positive for the start of the book, the introduction and preliminary notes, but I've found the first chapters kind of hard to grasp, not knowing what P.S. was going for with the countless examples of paintings and iconography, but your talks were refreshing and kinda made me rethink some of them in a more longitudinal way. The "negative gynecology" chapter was the one that really got me into it, his thinking and etc, so right now I've been more immersed in the book. Hope to see an episode on it as well! Cheers.
Awesome! I'm glad it's helpful for you--it's helpful to me doing these, too--and in exactly the same way. Haha. I'm sorry it's going so slow though. You've probably finished the trilogy by now!
Thank you! I'm definitely workin' on it! It's actually a really good exercise for me as well! I just need to get faster. Life moves pretty fast sometimes.
Keep posting, your stuff is great. I don’t want you to be one of those intelligent youtubers who drop off because the channel doesn’t have much growth.
If you asked me what sorts of hand gestures he makes, I wouldn't be able to tell you, but I am a fan of Ebert so it's certainly possible that unconsciously I picked them up.
@@thinkculture6106 they’re almost mudra-like, it’s funny, same as you, highly elaborating and specifically dexterous. Other people just vaguely flail but you and Ebert do very articulate gestures
Keep it up. Looking forward to ch. 3

Thanks for the encouragement! I think it's a useful enterprise.
are you copying Ebert's hand gestures or have you always done it
