You will not believe this is really in Pattaya ! 🇹🇭

We visited a really amazing and absolutely fascinating temple in Thailand, the "Sanctuary of truth" ! It is an unfinished museum in a very special style, a hybrid of a castle and a temple. It is themed on the Ayutthaya Kingdom and of Buddhist and Hindu beliefs. The building is constructed entirely out of wood. It contains only wood-carved idols and sculptures. When you are there, your eyes will not know where to look, they will be overwhelmed by the thousands of wooden handcrafted figures and symbols. The whole temple has a hearttouching atmosphere and energy.

thank´s ! there is no regular bus going from central pattaya to the sanctuary of truth, but there are some organised tourist tours by bus, that are offered in central pattaya at several places, for example on second road. and another option would be to take a baht bus anywhere at second road and jump off it nearby terminal 21 and then walk to sanctuary of truth using google maps, but this is a little of a walk to do.

no, unfortenately, there is no direct access from the sanctuary of truth to the beach, but if you walk, or drive with a scooter a little, you can visit some nice beaches that are close

yes, nearly unbelievable, but true ! i think, this is another point that makes the sanctuary of truth very special. also it musst be interesting for carpenters or housebuilders who build wooden huts

yes, in a way that´s true, the temple is a mixture of different cultures, not only buddhist culture, but also hindu culture /religion. i think, this makes it very special
