Have a Nice Death is a 2D action roguelike where you play as an overworked Death, whose employees have run rampant, completely throwing off the balance of souls - and his vacation plans. In order to restore order, you'll have to grab your trusty scythe and show your employees who's boss.

That beautiful art style captivated me as soon as I saw it. Probably the most hyped I’ve been for an indie game in a long while. Cannot wait for next week and totally getting this day 1. Also I’m praying to DEATH that this gets a physical release otherwise I’ll DIE
It is a great game, got it day 0 when it got on Steam Early Access like a year ago.

@Tool Shop Guy it's soooo good, it started off a little barebones but over the last year it's turned in to something amazing, skul is great, personally I prefer have a nice death, just hoping it runs well on switch and that they release a physical version.....

I've bought the game since early access first came out and it has been very fun playing throughout the year! I'm so excited for the new bosses and department!
Have they gotten the balance better? I wanted to buy the game in early access, but I saw multiple people commenting on how unbalanced the game was.

@@Ohenheim started playing yesterday and I definitely agree. It’ll take a bit to beat, but I got to the second boss yesterday, so I definitely just think it’s skill for people that have issues.
@Seiker Been here since early access as well, my balancing issue wasn't that the game was hard but rather that the game was too easy. The new harder difficulties did fix that issue tho.
@@OverH19 True, reached Difficulty XV and it became a challenge I very much enjoyed.
I remember seeing this when it was first introduced at the TGA last year I think? Maybe late 2021? (I was specifically hoping for Silksong news then, but this was still nice to see. Best thing I saw there.) I planned to get it on steam as soon as possible, but I haven't been able to, but once I can I'll definitely play this through! Seems fun.

A cool twist on Hades. I kind of dig it.
This looks like The Personality and Fantastic Art style of Hades with the gameplay of Hollow Knight and i couldn't be more excited to see if its as good as it looks

For years I've had an idea similar to this using a small simplified reaper character I made named Grim E. Meurto (called Grim-e by the other characters). It makes me very happy seeing something similar to what I had in mind come to fruition by a company with far more talent than I.

I thought this was another rogueilike hack and slash ala dead cell. but this trailer literally sold it for me.
